Reviews for Ahhan Lao Kitchen in Austin, TX
Very nice to have Laotian cuisine around! Very exotic and interesting.\nI ordered the Sai oua (sausage) and it was a little... strong in flavours. Good at the beginning but I can see how it?s not for everyone. On the other hand, I really liked the stickyrice - very well made!\n\nI wanted to try something more authentic but I didn?t enjoy the sausage as much as I expected. Can?tspeak for the other dishes, but it seems like they make vary traditional dishes so will definitely try more! Read more

Life changing food! Tender moist and juicy!!! Best ever omgawd
I?ve had many items on the menu since they?ve opened. I feel like I?m a regular here! I moved away from my family and chef Bam?s... cooking has reminded me of my mom?s cooking ? absolutely fantastic! The Mok Gai reminds me of Aw Gai wrapped up in banana leavesand is probably my favorite dish along with the sai oua/sai gok. The jeow bong is the real deal and I always substitute for it. Read more
I totally had a feast that consisted of nam khao, Lao sausage, Lao jerky, khua mee, tapioca balls, papaya salad and mok gai... (steamed chicken with herbs). All were very tasty. Top 3 for me is nam khao, tapioca balls, and papaya salad. Also theirdesserts are so good!! Refreshing. Read more
The Pad Thai and Beef Jerky with sticky rice was so delicious!!!
Yummy red curry chicken soup with a dessert similar to Filipino Ginataang. My 11 year old stole half of my order and couldn\'t... keep their hands of the dessert, shoveling down jackfruit and pandan jellies. Excited to try more dishes. Very easy go-to forhectic evenings when I can\'t be bothered. Read more
