I was in the mood to try something different and I searched for restaurants near by and this place came up. I read some good... reviews but their ratings were low. Now I know why. First of all the service was good, but let me tell you about the food.Everything was over cooked but the fries. The shrimp was dry and chewy as they over cooked it. The catfish, hush puppies andcrab cake was also dry and over cooked. So over cooked the hush puppies and crab cake fell apart when trying to cut with a fork. It seemed like they used old oil as everything was dark like they don't change the oil. Now let's talk about dessert. No onecan mess up dessert. I ordered a slice of cheesecake. For it being an $8.00 slice of cheesecake the base of the fork almost wasbigger and I ordered a caramel topping which was not 8ncluded. I previously wrote a review, and the GM asked for me to call him. (I knew we were going to Abby?s for date night this evening)... So of course I called bc my picture is posted on my profile. After laughing, joking, and talking about the pandemic causing thewhole city to be short staffed, Tommy offered to make the next visit better. And boy did he keep his word. It was a slow night,so we got to talk more, talk about Valentine?s Day specials ????????& much more. Tommy thank you for fixing the concerns I had,and for the hospitality tonight. You know food is "EXCELENT" when your wanting it as soon as your done!!!! Gumbo is EXCELENT!!! Dirty Rice was light ,fuffy not... sticky and Hella Good! the Shrimp and fish Had a panko breading a nice change from corn meal & beer batter and was clean anddelicious as well!! I had the second mate with extra 1lb shrimp abbys Cajun seasoning mild and our appetizers were crab cakes and dozen shucked... oysters. The food was delicious and had great flavors, and the spice was on point. The customer service was amazing he washelpful and attentive. Read more

I ordered the second mate abby's cajun seasoning medium. It was full of flavor and cooked beautifully. The atmosphere was great... and the service was AMAZING! Price...reasonable. This place has the potential to go far with a few improvements. The potatoesand sausage that came with my boil were under cooked. The kitchen did replace them but still not were they needed to be. Oysters were fresh, gumbo was so tasty, dirty rice was freshly made and shrimp tacos were good although they were missing... pickled onions and sour cream as stated in menu. Waiter was super friendly and kept checking on us. Hubby had the Micheladawhich hit the spot. Will go again. Read more

Wow. Loved it! The staff was great, friendly, and answered questions. Food was reasonably priced but was excellent. I had the... boiled shrimp, she had the fried shrimp. I got the extra spicy... My new favorite spot in town!! I?m from the coast and so picky about flavoring when it comes to seafood boils. At first I was... nervous because they still had crawfish in August but the GM let me taste one and it was amazing enough that I ordered a fewpounds!!
