Sloooooooooow. I go to the Bruster's on Cobb Pkwy Smyrna (way better customer service!) but have gone here a handful of times... when visiting this area. I'm all for a laidback work environment, but it's a bit too laid back. It takes quite a while for themto fix your order because the employees don't multitask. I've watched several times on different visits where the employee wouldstop fixing the order to socialize for a couple minutes then go back to fixing the ice cream. It's frustrating. I ordered a birthday cake for my boyfriend a few weeks back online (ordered on a Friday for a Tuesday pickup.) I called to... confirm later that day. When I went to pick it up on that Tuesday, it was not decorated. The woman did a quick decorationand wrote Happy birthday on it for me, and she was very nice. When I got home (an hour drive) we ate dinner and then did thebirthday cake thing. When we cut into it, I realized the entire thing was wrong- every bit of it. I was so unhappy I emailedthe company. If they had not responded, I would have left a 1 star review. However, Donald Butler (district manager?) emailedme back and wanted to make it right. He offered to make a new cake and put whatever I wanted on it. I chose some lyrics fromsong on a show my boyfriend and I are watching. I didn't expect him to actually write them in icing. When I picked the cakeup today, he did in fact write the lyrics in icing. I laughed. Beautiful. My boyfriend also laughed, and the cake wascorrect, perfect and freaking delicious as hell. Thank you for communicating and making this right. Many other places wouldhave just ignored the email. Also shout out to the owner (who told me her name AND I repeated it back and STILL forgot it!) Soforgive me for that- an African lady who was very delightful and sweet. Thanks again for making this right and being kind-both of you. The manager on duty wearing a gray shirt was extremely discourteous! Will not be a patron at this location. My brownie was also... extremely small compared to what I have received at other locations. The staff other than the rude manger, or whoever he was,were nice. I will not spend my money anywhere that doesn't appreciate my service. I bought three sundaes this day and promisedmy 4 children we would go Friday as a reward, but it will not be this location. Read more
I placed an online order and paid before coming to pick it up and I still had to stand in line and wait with customers who were... waiting to be attended. It was inconvenient and VERY hot. The staff members were extremely nice, helpful and courteous. I thinkthings would run more efficiently with better organization of their system of operations. It wasn't a bad experience, I justdidn't expect to have to wait. Shout out to Jovan and the rest of the Bruster's crew for being patient, pleasant and serving upcreamy, cool delicious treats. Love their ice creams. Service is great. Perfect place to come in the summer or anytime you want ice cream. You can even buy ice... cream cakes and pies. Read more
Great ice cream spot! To be honest it is a bit pricey?we spent over $30 for a family of 4. It is cheaper to go buy a tub of ice... cream at Kroger but the Ice cream was delicious! The ice cream is pretty good. Creamy, thick milkshakes. The waffle cones are delicious! The service is excellent! We had to wait... a while to get our order but the guy who took our order was so super friendly and made the experience even better. Not the bestice cream I?ve had, but would definitely go back.
