This place was absolutely delicious and I've ate at a lot of Mexican restaurants. They very easily accomodated our group of 10.... Super friendly staff. My group is very picky about flautas and these were amazing. The majority of the group finished theirwhole plates. Reasonable pricing. Reccomend flautas, tampiquena, enchiladas! My my my my, what a wonderful find! Everything on this menu is absolutely delicious. We ordered various tacos, the steak... arrachera, birria tacos, tamales, cheeseburgers, and Micheladas. Who ever is back there cooking deserves a raise! It's sooooogood. Unfortunately, the service is just alright and the restaurant has absolutely no Covid precautions. Sometimes the serverswear their masks properly, sometimes they don't. There is absolutely no social distancing. I try to avoid lunch and dinner rushhours because it is packed to the brim. Forget summer, it's always packed. They do have an outdoor seating patio but they neverset it up so you're forced to sit inside. There are no prices on the menus, they have all been covered up. The bill total isalways different even if you keep ordering the same thing everytime you visit. What's up with that? I overlook theseunfortunate points because the food is just so good. It was my third time at this place but definitely the last one. We ordered five tacos, one CHICKEN burrito, one horchata and one... bottle of sprite. We paid almost $28 which I?m perfectly fine with it (if everything was worth it). When we walked in we had towait like 5 minutes to be seat because half of the tables were empty but were dirty. The online menu wasn?t working so it washard to see their menu on the walls, when our food arrived as soon my partner cut the burrito she was totally disappointed, sheordered a chicken burrito, not a tinga or desebrada burrito. The flour tortilla and lettuce were already saggy for all the extrajuice the tinga has, we were expecting the basic grilled chicken. Or they were just overworked and were tired to make thechicken or they really had to get rid of unused chicken tinga. She couldn?t even eat it, everything you see in the picture wasleft in the plate, the tacos were good but the tortillas were a little cold and that didn?t make the tacos the best. Today I had tacos al pastor and my boys had de asada with refried beans and rice. They have three hot sauces that go very well... with the tacos. The horchata taste sweet and is refreshing. Eating area is clean and their service is friendly and fast. Justone problem.. no prices until you pay your bill at the register. Overall it's ???? Read more
My wife and I love this place!! It's not fine dining, but the food is delicious, the service is fast, and the price is right.... The meals come with their red and green sauce, but the salsa with the side of chips is so tasty. We love their guac. And theirguac bar has quite the selection including roasted jalapenos and grilled onions. Obviously others like it too because mosttables are full during meal times. Read more
Highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. Don?t let the nondescript look and feel of the place fool you, their... food is excellent and flavourful. It?s gets pretty busy on weekends though. A few callouts: they have parking at the backside,you need to pay at the counter once you are done, and lastly they don?t serve complimentary chips and salsa, however they morethan make up for that by having a complimentary salad bar with guacamole.
