The only reason why this Harold?s Chicken is still in business is because it is the only one in Aurora. The few times that I... have visited this location they are ?RUDE?. (Especially the guy, I?m not sure if he?s the owner or not) But it?s ridiculous whenpeople are supporting your business. They ask for ID if paying by card as if their food has any adult only substance, lol. It's more quarantined than a covid... treatment center. They yell at people approaching that window. They slam the glass window on customer's face as if they providefree food and we have to live on their mercy. All of this if the food is worthy food? Which isn't the case. Let's talk aboutfood then! Every one that you see on this Google review is very true. every one that has posted a review on here has told the complete... truth these people are very rude I have watched them be very very rude to a mother and a daughter a nurse coming from work oneday since her daughter inside of the place to get her food and they were just really giving that young lady a hard time so wherethe mother has to come out probably having to work all day to get her food I just left from this place I?m never ever ever goingthere again it is so sad that you?re going to place an they are asking you what your order is you tell them the name and youhave to scream - because they?re playing music loud - very unprofessional - just ridiculous. Food was okay. The atmosphere was not great. The woman assisting seemed irritated with our presence. Like really bothered. Even... when getting my good I smiled said thank you and literally she just stared like something was wrong with me. Truthfully onlygave 3 stars because it's black owned! So rude to people it?s insane. I?ve never came across a business that?s always empty and still mean to customers. The way they... slammed the blinds in my husbands face was just uncalled for. Harold?s chicken should never be empty. Especially in Chicagoland. Will not be coming back. A piece of me thinks the kitchen isn?t as clean as it should be. Honestly was kinda worried about coming when I saw the low reviews,but I had a very good experience! The man at the counter was... friendly got us our food in like 15 mins, and the Catfish was so good! Crispy zesty, and the chicken was solid just wish Ichoose tenders to get a little more meat than the wing, but that's on me. Read more
If I could give them a 0 I would. I placed my order at 6:15pm prior to my lunch break. I was told 20 minutes. I arrived at 7pm... still had to waited 10 min. I knocked on glass to get cashiers attention to ask for a time frame since I had called in and wason lunch break. Both her and her husband are rude and disrespectful. Her husband approached the glass unprofessionally ? it?llbe up shortly?. As I attempted to explain that I was on lunch break he continuously cut me off. He went as far as trying tointimidate me by staring ?what?s up? as he put his arms in the air. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND NOR WILL I EVER SPEND MY MONEY at thisestablishment. They absolutely DO NOT know what customer service is. The cashier was very rude tossed my ID & Card through theslotted hole after charging my card. Her attitude is very disgusting she spoke to other customers aggressively and unwelcoming. No masks worn and lady doesn?t wash hands after tendering payment and packing food. I RECEIVED my REFUND. Being a restaurant owner myself providing customers with quality food as well as great customer service is key to running a... successful restaurant. I am truly surprised how this place is still in business! The food is average, the restaurant looksuninviting and the customer service is the absolute worse !!! The owners/employees probably need to just retire instead oftreating customers spending their money at this establishment like an inconvience. The man and woman who I assume are the owners, Whom I have experienced extremely rude customer service from both. And being a restaurant owner I understand you may have abad day sometimes, so I definitely gave them business several different times to see if it was just a bad day they were having , nope the unacceptable, rude customer service was everytime ! Never again, I'd rather drive an hour to the Chicagoland areaHarold's where the Harold?s brand is represented the right way than give my money to a business that acts as if they areirritated by my business or presence...
