Normally I would give this place more stars but since the cook decide to mess up the remake of our order by half cooking the... burrito, and soaking the burrito in grease without draining them, I taken this as retaliation. Yes my husband requested theorder taker to put cheese, and red sauce on both deep fried burritos, so when he got home discovered naked burritos. We Calledand had order redone. I return with the untouched food the look on the cook and two other staff had a mad look on their faces.Well we are English speaking people if you don't understand get someone else to take the order. This place was excellent at one time. Was my go to Mexican restaurant. $3.99 for a tiny taco with no meat is ridiculous!!! Sure,... blame the price of everything going up, but at least put some chicken in these things. I don't drink pop, but putting a sign bythe refreshments that says one refill per customer is sooo petty and a real turn off. Won't be back EVER! Read more
Poor customer service and manager unprofessional. They got my order wrong. I ordered nachos locos. They gave it to me with all... the other ingredients,dry and no cheese. How is nachos a nachos without cheese ? I called, they wrote my name and apparentlythey will give me credit. When I went to get my "credit", the credit that she wrote was for sides. When i explained whathappened the Manager insisted and puts words in my mouth that i didnt say. Manager needs to learn how to multi task since shetakes drive thru orders and answering complaints. So uh, kinda sad to say I was really disappointed. Service was good but not the food. I got a taco dinner and: carnitas were dry... (which is sad because they're my favorite), the pastor and barbacoa we're both pretty bland and I didn't like the flavor anyway.I literally just didn't eat them. Also got steak nachos and the steak wasn't the worst, was the best of the other meats, butI've had much better. And they use a cheap cheese sauce underneath that isn't very flavorful. At least the elote and Jamaicawere good but it's hard to mess that up, haha. Wouldn't recommend personally. Read more
*UPDATED REVIEW* We've ordered here a few more times and the food has been good but nothing outstanding. I just think the food... needs more flavor and then it would receive a greater review. But overall this is normally our go to Mexican food when we wantto treat ourselves. Always just an okay experience with our food. Yeah their portion sizes are huge, but defeats the purposewhen the order isnt right. Today I ordered a burrito with beans, rice, cheese, and sour cream...Never got any sour cream andthere was potato and avocado in it?. I'm sorry I didnt ask for those to be in there and therefore I didnt even finish halfbecause not my cup of tea when it comes to a burrito. #dissapointing. Wanted some local tacos and came to a familiar chain restaurant. This El burrito Loco did not disappoint with fast service and... good food. We ordered mostly tacos and a taco diner with some horchata, everything was solid. It was a take out order and itcame out quicker than I was anticipating for our order size. Kudos to the staff!
