I have never been treated so rudely at any restaurant as I did here, and by the owner, makes it even worse! I went in to get my... daughter a hamburger and fries and I asked if they had anything that was not so fattening, so the lady suggested a grilledchicken sandwich, so I asked for it with no bun and add lettuce and tomato. I got it "to go", went home and open the containerand under the tomato and lettuce was a lil piece of chicken, I was very shocked, I called the place and told the lady how smallthe chicken was and she told me to bring it back, I told her I couldn't come back for 2 hrs. and she said ok, so I asked her, sothat means I have to wait 2hrs to eat and she said YEP. I took the sandwich back 2 hrs later, went inside, and a different ladyasked me what I needed, I explained to her what was wrong and the owner came out of the back (he is the one that cooked the lilpiece of chicken) and as he opened the register I let him know I didn't want the chicken anymore, that I would take a cheeseburger without the bun, well as I was saying that he reached in to the register and took out a $5 bill and threw it at me, yes,he threw it at me, and it floated to the ground and I asked him what are you doing, I didn't want my money back, I wanted aburger instead, and he acted like I wasn't even talking to him. When I was there earlier to get my food he was trying to give adelivery guy a free sandwich, he was more interested in that guy then a paying customer and that's why he messed up my order. Iwill never eat there again, The restaurant next to them told me he is a rude man to a lot of people. He lost my business and allmy friends and family. I hope it was worth it to him. Stopped in for lunch today, haven?t been at Dons for about 10 years or so. The lady at the counter was cheerful, and the decor... was comforting/all American retro style. Ordered burger & fries, totally good price and better quality. Delicious pattie and ahearty bun. Love to see family owned business still around and going well! Read more
We walked in Don walkers not really acknowledged as customers the young lady acted like we was more like a bother instead of... guests,we ordered anyway besides the musky old smell that lingered in the tiny place we sat down and ate not even was everythingok came out of the lady's mouth.so we finished our food got up to clean our mess and then the happy lady all to glad we wasleaving said have a good night... what's the matter with these businesses do they not care anymore? This was my husband and I first time and they have the most absolutely amazing food. The best in town I'd say love the people... there they were patient and very understanding and Dog ????????????????????????? FRIENDLY ??????TOO. they also have very coolantique decor displayed throughout the store. Read more

A classic! Always delicious and filling. This place is a favorite of my husband.
First time that I ordered (takeout) from here. Called in the order and it was fairly fast on a Friday night too. The prices were... very decent and the food was tasty. I ate a chili cheese dog which was fantastic along with the fries and onion rings. The onionrings were cooked just right, not crunchy or hard but very soft and fully cooked to perfection. I also had the juicy bun whichwas soaked in just the right amount of gravy. My mom had the gyros and through they were great too. Read more
