Heard about the variety of international food at Mango House (the complex that houses Urban Burma) and specifically Urban Burma,... so I came to check it out. There is a parking lot behind the building, and there is also street parking out front. Urban Burmais the first restaurant on the left if you enter from the street. The cashier was friendly and helpful with the menu. Thetaste of the food was good, but the noodles were overcooked, and the chicken was too dry. They do spice levels from 1-5, and the4 was pretty spicy. I tried the Burmese iced tea which was similar to Thai iced tea in taste. Most of the other reviews aregreat, so maybe I had a one off experience. Read more

Absolutely delicious at every bite. We had samosas, beef curry, and the ono kao sweh. The ingredients are fresh and... high-quality, and the plates are presented nicely. Service was friendly and prompt. Don?t miss the Burmese hot tea! Lookingforward to coming back. Read more

I want to continue Urban Burma?s legacy of 5 stars. They deserve every one. Really great little operation with friendly... employees and tons of space for seating. I had the sampler and it was fantastic. Perfect amount of food and everything wasincredible. The tea leaf salad may have been my favorite thing on the plate. So much flavor and love put in to this food. Read more

These guys had there food truck at a couple of events I was attending. This time I got the taste of Burma plate which came with... chicken curry, samosa, and tea leaf salad. The curry was delicious, ginger forward and had yummy potatoes. The samosa was stillcrunchy and filled with potatoes as well. My favorite was the salad which had some great texture and flavors. This place has Amazing food. I got the Shan Noodles(dry noodles with a side of broth, tasted awesome) and their Samosas (which... came with such an interesting sauce, loved). The restaurant is hidden in a culture center. The front door is locked, and youhave to go around back to get in. There?s a parking lot in the back. Read more

I tried a new cuisine today. The flavors were amazing and different even though I'd been to that part of the world. I ordered... based on the reviews I'd read. The lemony flavored noodle dish was very good, as was the tea leaf salad. The owners were supernice, especially the man who brought out my meal. I docked a star for two reasons.. The chairs are metal and not comfortable. (Iopted to not sit at the couch, namely because their young child was playing there.) And, I would have loved to get a half orderof the salad, one: to save a little on cost, and two: I had no idea if I'd like it or not. It was too much food and more than Iusually try to spend at lunch. I'm uncertain if I'll return to eat here, but it's worth mentioning that the setting is ratherlike a community center with shops and other food stands and services. Score on the new find.. The market was very cool! Read more
