The Rock is our favorite restaurant in the Saddle Rock area. It?s not a chain and the food is great. What makes it the best is... the service we receive every week we visit. Bri the bartender is amazing. She remembers what we like to eat and drink and isvery personable. We look forward to our once a week lunch here because she?s there. Service and atmosphere were great! The place loses a star because of it's "Non-Cash Adjustment" added to all checks paid with a... credit card. It would be a much more friendlier experience for all involved if instead they increase their prices by 3% andthen gave a 3% cash discount! I was told it was mentioned in the menu but who really looks at a menu when ordering beer andalcohol! The add-on just rubbed me the wrong way! Read more
Made reservations for a large party of us. Was ready early, which was very nice. They only gave us three menus for ten people... and told us to use a QR code. We could not find the QR code on the physical menu or by the table, so we had to share our menus.We ordered and food came out different then was ordered. Also food came out separate for our table as I guess our server didn?ttell the kitchen we were all together. No condiments were offered and our server was missing for the first ten minutes of thefood being out. Very affordable and a large range of food available. Long time customer and we love this place! I am writing this review in hopes the restaurant sees a suggestion we have. My family... and I visited today and tried to sit on the patio but desperately missing were some fans that moves the air and/or an outdoormisting system. Having those would make the ambiance of the patio incredible because they already have the views and shade goingfor them. Even with the patio being shaded though, the air felt stale as soon as we sat down and we ended up moving inside tothe air conditioning. We?d love to see something installed to combat the hot summers days while dining on the patio! Read more
Service was amazing. Server knew the menu and made great suggestions for several different ages. Food was tasty and quick for a... Friday night. Ate on the back porch, and the atmosphere was happy but not too loud. We'll be coming back soon. Read more
Family, friends and I love The Rock's extensive menu, perfectly prepared food, delightful service & atmosphere. Mixed drinks... can be unreliable, but their entrees know how to impress. But this Saturday morning, I was delighted to discover they serveamazing breakfasts too! Try the 'Abenator' or Breakfast tamale specialties. Bargain prices on delicious biscuits andgravy. Had such a great time. The food options are vast and the quality is delicious. The staff is for sure the best in town. Multiple... people checked in us, each time they passed, they were there for us. The cups were never left dry, and the friendly neighborhoodfeel is unmatched. We will definitely go back, kids are welcome and the music was even on par. Read more
