Look, this was literally one of the hardest 3 stars review to write okay! My experience at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill... was just that, it was great, but lets have a bit of context shall we... Service was GREAT!!!! Cannot knock them at all, staffwas friendly and quite helpful. 5 star staff Food was good, just not great. I think there's too many 5 star reviews thrownaround sometimes, and I'd like us to understand a bit more on what we're rating here. This is where I think it would be nice toget a bit more granular with our star ratings, because they're not necessarily a 3, but not a 4 either. Enough complaining,back to the food. The Hummus was DELICIOUS!!!! If I lived close to this place I'd be eating A LOT of their hummus! The lentilsoup was quite nice and would also slurp some of that up next go round. The Falafel though, man I wanted to love it, and it wasgood, don't get me wrong! There was just something not taking this one to the top for me. So, the food is good and I'dabsolutely eat here again no questions asked. It's a fast food style offering that yields fast type food. Solid spot where I really enjoyed the Shrimp Souvlaki. Liked every dip and side, especially the rice. Service was very polite... and enjoyable. The tables could be arranged more efficiently is me reaching for a critique. They also serve beer and wine. Iwould consider this a solid place for a quick work lunch. Read more

I would give it 5 stars but the Spanakopita was mostly dough, barely any filling BUT the Chicken Souvlaki is Delicious, the Feta... Fries are Outrageous and the Baklava Ice Cream is TO DIE FOR!! The Tzatziki Appetizer was also yummy. Be prepared because it ispricey. Read more

Visited The Great Greek on a Wednesday around 11:30 for lunch. Not busy at all, with lots of open tables inside and outside. ... Went with the great greek gyro and a side of feta fries for lunch. Food was AWESOME, and I highly recommend the feta fries. Ifyou like greek food, you should check this place out. Lots of people getting take out while we were eating lunch. Knocking off1 star for lack of convenient parking, spaces available just a little walk to the restaurant. Also issues with the door to thepatio being broken / not working. Read more

5?? for overall experience and the food. We tried 3 souvlaki plates? steak (medium rare), lamb (medium rare) and chicken. The... meat was done perfectly as we had desired? crisp char on outside and tender juicy inside. The rice was good and fries wereamazing (crisp). Deducted a ??, because they served 2 chicken and lamb. When we informed, they corrected it right away.Hopefully they will be more careful, because a lot of folks do take-out and you wouldn?t want such mixup with thoseorders. The people were nice and food was fast. We ordered two Great Greek Plates and We got it to go. There was a large portion of Gyro... meat, and the side of rice and fries but that was only 2/3rds of the order. The salads and Tzatziki that were supposed to comewith it were missing. Actually, more than a 3 but less than a 4 for our first visit. Location: Ground floor of The Forum (condominiums/residences), ... a good, safe area. On our weekend, mid-afternoon visit, parking was not a problem. Restaurant: Simple, clean decor with outdoordining available We ordered the: Beef Tenderloin entree plate Traditional Gyro (beef) A notice by the counter advised of a15-minute wait for "well-done" meat orders. ???? We ordered our beef, well-done and had no problem with the additionalwait. The problem was, and, this is our main reason for our rating, the fries were lukewarm as soon as served. Though, we weresure they could have been great if served hot as fries are supposed to. The same was true of the Gyro, it was "cold".....ormaybe, gyros are supposed to be cold and we've just been tasting warmer gyros from other restaurants. Serving portions wasprice-justified, my beef skewers were more than enough although I personally found them a bit bland. Another customer who camein and was waiting for her to-go order was recommending to other customers the lamb and the shrimp so, maybe, it was just us notordering the right items on our first visit. Ambiance 5/5 Food 5/5 Excellent food! We ordered one entree each of chicken gyro n vegetarian falafel pita. But let me start... with the dish which we liked the most. It is unique tastes better than anything on the menu or other restaurants. It is the bestbaklava ice cream. We are big fan of baklava as a sweet dish but combining with ice cream which tastes that amazing is rare.Hands down recommended.
