Reviews for Tacos El Metate in Aurora, CO
My favorite taco spot! They make everything the same way so you have a consistent experience everytime. Menudo is on point.... Pozole is very tasty too. The salsas compliment the meat and brings out dynamic flavors. I vote this spot as the best in theDenver Metro. It's worth a try. Read more

Absolutely delicious! Fresh and full of flavor. This small restaurant does well and keeps up with orders. They offer eat in,... delivery (via local delivery Apps) and take out. Lots of flavor, good size portions. Choose from tacos, tortas, burritos andquesadillas. Lots of options like chicken, beef, carnitas, steak, tripe and more. We tried the fish tacos and carnitastacos.... street size... fabulous flavor with very fresh ingredients. The Carnitas Fries are loaded, so yummy! The staff isknowledgeable and so helpful. I cannot eat any spicy foods and they were very accommodating in making sure 'spicy' was removedfrom my tacos. Definitely recommended!! Read more
The staff was friendly fast and bilingual. Food service was decently quick, and i enjoyed the salsa bar. My burrito was good,... especially the tortilla. The place was clean but a little spartan. Yes, i would go again. Read more
Los tacos de pescado son deliciosos. ????. Love the radishes on the side and the agua de pepino is quenching. The variety of... salsas is great too. 10/10 would come here again Read more
What a find, the tacos were some of the best I have ever had. Made the simple way of just the meat, onions, and cilantro with... salsas, and lime on the side. The place is clean, low-key, and comfortable inside. Staff was friendly, and with a little lunchrush they still were pretty quick. I tried the Al Pastor (chili marinated pork), carnitas (tender cooked pork), and the Asada(flank steak) tacos. All were very good, though the Asada was a little dried out, but overall still delicious. Others in ourgroup also enjoyed the Pescado (fried fish), and barbacoa (slow-cooked beef) tacos as well. Closest to the tacos I?ve had in Cabo San Lucas. I?ve tried al pastor, pescado and camaron, and they were delicious. If you get... them with ?everything?, they come out as you can see on the included photo. Salsa bar was pretty nice - 4 salsas plus pickledjalapeños and carrots. They have Mexican Coke with real sugar - in half a liter size - and they also have decenthorchata. Prices are pretty decent for Denver area - $2 for al pastor taco, $2.50 for fish and shrimp. I?ll be back soon! Read more
