For the location, it?s not bad at all. Or rather, before the newer buildings went up nearby, this place would have held up on... its own as a good contender for quality quick affordable eats and drinks. Nowadays though, it?s like the shadows cast down fromthe new high buildings have somehow turned this pace into a dark, unreliable, inefficient, and poorly run hotspot for illicitactivities and less so for anything food related. I never minded the activities of Colfax prior to this gentrification though,as it still worked for the total system and this business, like many others, performed as expected. Now, it takes ages to getdrinks, much longer for food. Little to no reasoning why ordering through the app often won?t work at this location as it?s amajor way to bring in more customers and they say the Internet is working. The owl-shaped security cameras and anti-birdlandings are cute. I wish you could see a little bit better backing up out of these spaces though as I?ve nearly been hitpassing a car at least a third of the times I?ve visited. I will say the employees, although visibly exhausted at all hours,are still kind and seem to enjoy the chance to step outside, unlike many other fast-food joints. If it weren?t for them though,I?d skip this place entirely and drive all the way out to Chambers if I was seeking something Sonic specific. I ordered lunch through Uber eats. My food came and the right receipt was stapled to the bag. I got French toast sticks instead... of my hamburger and fries. It was sonics mess up since the receipt was right. I called and there was nothing they could do themanager was not helpful at all I am crippled and had to walk to sonic to get my order fixed I am livid and my family will not beeating there again Read more
Sonic is good for a fast food burger. They can be a mess to handle sometimes but a good burger. Though not much variety on food.... The drinks however the rock. Slushy to sweet tea to shakes. They are all good. It's a drive in so not much in the way ofseating. They're pretty clean. Staff is friendly, not too bright sometimes but friendly. On par with every other fast food placewhen it comes to prices. Read more
Recently addicted! Great big burger. Super good soft pretzles.. top notch shakes. So far never encountered any employees that... was unpleasant in any way. Thank you. My one suggestion is make it possible to type unique alterations to menus items whenordering through the app. Lastly is it just me or is the foot long Coney actually 18 inches:) Read more
Food is alright. Used thier app to order ahead. Either my phone or thier app faulty cause order was lost and I couldn't... provide ticket number. Once I had bank notification of purchase and provided it to them, they asked for name order was under,response was " Oh yeah, it's right here we'll bring it right out". The is a decent location in a kinda seedy neighborhood. Staff was friendly. Food was hot but delivered on end so the chili... cheese tots were sliding out of the container. Server was probably not paying attention. Landscaping was better than mostSonics.. Read more
I love making a stop at this place for a quick bite or to get one of their limeades (cherry one is great). 2pm is start of happy... hour and you can get some drinks at half price, i think. Service is not the greatest or fastest, but I have not had much tocomplain about in the times i have been there. Although the last time I was there, there were no benches or places to sitoutside, so that was a bit inconvenient. In any case, not a bad place for a quick bite or a drink.
