Good food and atmosphere, staff are very polite and patient. I was looking forward to trying Peruvian food in CO (I'm from the... east coast) and this place did not disappoint, love it. Read more
Came for happy hour. Absolutely phenomenal service. The seafood ceviche was phenomenal. Wish it came with chips but regardless... it was great. They have a great drink menu as well. Read more
I am sitting in this restaurant as I write my review. Even though the location looks very good. The service here was beyond... Horrible. If other people of African descent were not present, I would have thought I was in a pork roast for a local KKK rally. We were totally ignored after we ordered our entree, never even offered water. I asked for a larger plate to accommodate my mealand was told no. This is absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten. 5 thumbs down for service. Had the roasted chicken, itmight as well have been southern fried Vulture. Thanks for the waste of money. Don?t waste your hard earned money on this place. Read more
I was very excited to try this place but the food was pretty disappointing. I ordered anticuchos medium done and they were... charred, they also only served 4 pieces of the meat (maybe one skewer worth) and the rest of the dish was tripe and two smallslices of potato. I?m Peruvian and I?ve never seen tripe as a side to anticuchos, also the amount of actual meat is insultingfor an $18 dish. The suspiro a la limeña is supposed to come with merengue on top but instead had small globs of whipped cream-it was good but did not taste like suspiro a la limeña. The aji de gallina was bland. The papa rellena was good; the salsacriolla it came with had big chunks of onion and tomato- they should be julienned and needed more lime. I do like that they havea lot of different creole Peruvian dishes which is exciting to see, so maybe some of their other dishes are better. Pisco sour-please do better with your portion sizes and offering truly authentic Peruvian dishes. I would love to have a good Peruvianrestaurant in the area. Read more
Nice place to eat Peruvian food, passed by around 3 pm Thursday and it was empty, service was good and fast. Place was clean and... organize. The food: the leche de trigue was exquisite, the seafood-chaufa rice was ok, not much flavor and as always thechicha morada is a win win at any Peruvian place. Read more
We ordered the Ceviche Mixto and the Ceviche Tres Colores. Both were great. The Fried Calamari and Yuca appetizer was also nice.... The calamari was very tender. Oddly enough, we weren't excited about the Pisco Sour - it had some type of sweet orange syrup ontop that wasn't the classic Pisco Sour that we were expecting. We would definitely go back for the Ceviche. Read more
- Native Peruvian review - As a Peruvian and a food person this was a disappointment. 1. The leche de tigre was way to... salty. 2. Our lomo saltado was everything than could be bad, the rice literally was NOT fresh or even ?microwave it? correctlywe could see some ?hard? parts, the beef was very oily, the sauce in general didn?t have that ginger flavor it was just soysauce and the fries? I don?t know if it was older than the rice but definitely hard to tell. 3. The fettuccine with huancainadidn?t have enough huancaina for the pasta, we asked for medium cook meet and it was over cook/ burn we could feel the charcoaltaste. The server was fine, attentive of course not her fault and nothing she can do, offer as a free dessert but we didn?twant to add more disappointment into our experience and just for that 2 starts. Today we made 2 orders online, in one everything is fine, but the seviche dish did not match the original! Photo attached! We... have been to many Peruvian restaurants, talked with chefs and waiters, the most important thing in this dish, before serving rawfish, the fish should be marinated in lime and onion for 15 minutes, as this combination kills all bacteria in raw fish! Pleaselook at the photo, you gave us just raw fish, without onions, where fresh onions are the most important thing in this dish, howcould you do that?! Of course, we had to throw everything in the trash, since you can?t eat it, because you served raw fishcooked without technology! ???????????? Read more
