Reviews for Old Town Hot Pot in Aurora, CO
Absolutely the best, phenomenal hot pot between the Mississippi and the to the west of Denver! My wife and I last had hot pot... many years ago in Chinatown (Chicago). Back then, such a thing was really hard hard come by anywhere in the mid-western U.S. Truth be told, Denver is about the same distance as Lincoln, Nebraska is to Chicago ? but heck, Old Town Hot Pot is the feast ofall hot pot feasts (and better!)! They have all-you-can-eat within reason and a multitude of dishes, sauces & broths to choosefrom. Don't know much about hot pot? No problem! The kind waiters and waitresses at Old Town Hot Pot will explain to you theins ?n outs of every flavor? and speaking of flavor, the variety of everything that they have is absolutely through the roof! My only gripe (if there is one) is that I wish there was one of these in Lincoln ? but this is just a personal wish that hasnothing to do with the restaurant itself :) (hint hint Old Town ? ever consider expanding roughly nine hours east ^_~ ???)? sowant try traditional Chinese hot pot - brand new to it (or otherwise) without worry? Old Town Hot Pot is! Fully 1,000%recommended ^^ !!! (*the photos that I took are lacking, but that's because once the food started coming - instead of photos, Istarted eating ;p ...) Read more
As hot pot connoisseurs ????, My family is always eager to try a new location. We chose this one simply for the kimchi soup... base. And they did not disappoint. Not only did this location have more of a selection in meat but also veggies. They servewhole crab in addition to crab meat. And when I asked if I could get more kimchi broth and was told no, the waitress did bringme an entire side of kimchi (which is made in-house ) and absolutely divine !!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are waitresswas absolutely amazing. Sometimes when you eat the spicy soup base you can end up with a little bit of heartburn the next day, this did not happen at all at this place. Yummy!!! Must try!!!! Read more
It has been a while since last had hot pots due to the scorching weather for the past few months. As we got a short break with... the cold front moving it, went to Old Town to have hot pot today. The service was nice and swift, and the foods were very fresh.I need to give special compliment to our server Kaylinn, as she made us feel we entered a five star restaurant through herdedicated service from the moment we sat down to the time we left. It made a very big difference for our dinning experience. Here are what we ordered. If you like seafood, make sure you order the crabs and shrimps, they were very fresh and juicy. Forthe foods and service, $28.99 is surely a bargain. Read more
This is my favorite hot pot place in Denver. They have good variety of broth, I recommend the tomato. The ingredients seem fresh... for the most part. I do wish there were a wider selection of meat but they have plenty of seafood options. Last time when I gotthe crab, it was not so fresh. Read more

Wonderful hot pot place. The place is huge but when we went it was not operated at full capacity due to staffing issue. They... sell by number of people and have fixed prices, essentially all you can eat. While waiting for the prep you can come to thesauce bar and pick any combination of sauces you want. They have various options to choose from, also including rice. Once youfinish with everything you can ask for more of w/e you desired. The meat and seafood are fresh and excellent. The soup broth isthe real deal, they have a whole bone for my bowl of soup Read more
Really yummy! I've tried a few different hot pot places around denver and this one is great. I love the all you can eat format... for hot pot because the servings are a little smaller so you can try some things you normally may not want to pay to try. We hadthe spicy broth which was full of flavor. The brisket was our favorite meat. And get the tofu skin! So good. The sauce bar has avariety of sauces to try. The interior is also huge and I saw a couple rooms for big private parties. There is a 2 hour limitand service was a little slow so we took up the majority of that time. But it was still fine! Highly recommend. Read more
Very likely the best Hot Pot place in the Denver region. From the amount of sauce options to the quality of ingredients it was... absolutely on point. My only gripe and it is a reach is that the spicy broth could stand to be spicier and have Sichuan pepperin it. Read more
