Absolutely the best BBQ I?ve had in Denver! One of the few places with collard greens on the menu and they NAILED it. I had the... pulled pork with the smokiest most tender pork with some crispy golden fried okra as a side and my friend had some of the besthush puppies ever! One of the sweet lady?s even went to the 7/11 close by to try and scoop a bottle of hot sauce, now THATScustomer service! Thank you all so much for making our day with one of the best meals in town! My favorite part was walking into the restraunt and smelling that deep smoky smell. Staff was really friendly and got my order... asap. I got the ribs and potato salad. The ribs were very tender and had a good smoky taste. The spicy BBQ sauce was fantastic,it actually had a great kick to it. Will be back. Thought the 10.99 for my meal was well worth it. The beef ribs were very tasty! And the house made sauce added a very flavorful taste! We love a good BBQ spot being we're... Texans. The potato salad was very good, along with the okra. Next time we hope to try what the locals usually have which is thegizzards and chicken wings???? Read more
Small clean dining area. Recently reopened. We ordered the pork rib dinner, but got 2 beef ribs and 3 pork ribs, all were cold.... The meat was dry and didn?t fall off the bone. The hush puppies were great and the potato salad was okay. Servers were nice.Took 20 minutes to get our food, too long for cold ribs. The BBQ sauce was average. Read more
I enjoyed my catfish sandwich, but my guy?s hot links were actual perfection. It?s good to know of a reasonably priced place... for catfish or hot links! I?ll have to try other stuff next time too. Wasn?t a big fan of the Mac & cheese, it was a little oilyfor my taste. Potato salad was pretty decent. People working there were the best. Read more
