We met family that was passing through there for dinner. There was a family reunion happening at the restaurant too. They... should have closed for the reunion earlier. We had 10 in our party and waited for 30 minutes for someone to take our order thenwaited 45 minutes for it to start coming out. We could tell the kitchen was overwhelmed and that they were trying but theservice was slow. The food was delicious and I would like to try it again. Perhaps knowing limitations--LARGE private eventand short staff--and being willing to focus attention on what can reasonably be done would help. They did decide to close afterwe ordered so no one else had to wait over an hour for food. We had children in our group who were tired and hungry and bored. Luckiy, their parents and aunt have good ways of dealing with that. Read more

Decided to try as I had been wanting some good southern food. Went in on Sat at dinner time. We were told they were out of... cornbread, catfish, and would only allow hush puppies as a side, not an appetizer as the menu had listed. Staff as was kind butthis affected like 1/4 of their menu. I will never be back Read more

I just came in here to pick up a to go order. This restaurant is kind of neat and located on the second floor. The whole... atmosphere is family friendly and the inside has a homey feeling with smooth jazz playing in the background. I havent even triedtheir food but so far its impressive and hospitality is really good here towards drivers. I'm coming back for sure. Read more

Enjoyed the Easter Buffet! An amazing assortment of main dishes and sides plus dessert. Maybe the best fried chicken and... catfish I have had in a very long time. The collard greens with Turkey and the pinto beans over rice were awesome! I am verystingy with my 5-star ratings but Corafaye's deserved my best for providing me with their best! Read more

We came from Charleston, SC to visit a family member. They bragged about this place so we were excited to try it. I loved the... look and feel of the place. Took a while for someone to come to our table. After about 25 minutes of waiting for food the servercame back and told us there were no pork chops. It?s just sad that we had to wait so long to be told that. The food was not whatwe had hoped it to be. My brother apologized for the experience we had and reassured us that this was just an off day. When wecome back again I plan to give it another try. The food wasn?t what we know soul food to be like in the south. Read more
