I wanted to give this place a try because I always drive by it on my way home from work so I figured, why not? I got the early... bird spicy chicken sandwich meal which was mediocre. I also got a side of mac n cheese which was literally a bowl of soup withovercooked noodles. The serving size of fries was very small as well. Definitely not worth $22.. Kickin' Chicken in Lakewood isfar better and less expensive. Read more
Very disappointed with Blazing Bird. I ordered The Bird, Seasoned Fries, Mac & cheese, fried Pickles & fried jalapeños. Since... the pictures on the website menu looked so good we decided to try them for the 1st time. All the food was cold nothing wasprepared Fresh. The fries were old cold & stale. The tender as you can see didn't fit the bun, I wanted med hot no heat at all& cold. The fried Pickles were good but cold the jalapeños were terrible & cold .the Mac & cheese had no flavor tasted like itcame from a box. I am very disappointed I will not return ever I spent way to much money for what I received. There were 2 othermeals that the sandwiches were cold as well. Popeyes is what it will be from now on. This was my 1st visit to Blazing Bird Aurora and when I walked in 30 minutes after they opened I wasn't greeted or ask can I... help you. I placed my order to go, paid and tipped. When I got to my vehicle I opened the box and chicken didn't look fresh tosay I was the 4th customer of the day per my receipt. The chicken tenders were warm to touch, looked like yesterday tendersreheated with a ton of seasoning added and the taste confirmed everything. I was so disappointed I didn't even bother going backin to get a refund because poor customer service and bad food quality this early in the morning a newly opened establishment isnot good. I had The Bird (medium heat) with Mac and Cheese and a lemonade. The sandwich was awesome, very tasty. I would definitely order... it again. They have the best lemonade. Chick fila lemonade is usually my favorite, but Blazing Birds is better. My husband hadthe extra hot bird and he couldn't handle it. This man eats a jalapeno with his meals and couldn't hang with this heat. The onlything I did not care for was the Mac and cheese, mine had a mushy texture and had little flavor. I would not recommend it. Thefries were also very good especially with the come back sauce. Overall I will definitely eat here again and next time try thefried Oreos. Read more

Me and my friend tried their The Bird, The Early Bird and Loaded Bird Sandwich. We loved each of them, while our favorite being... the early and loaded bird. Their extra hot spice level is really really spicy. Unless you get some vanilla/chocolate milkshake,I would suggest to stay on Hot level. The chicken inside was juicy and hot. The Mac n Cheese sauce and their comeback sauceprovides some nice sweet relief to the tongue from the heat of the spicy rub. While the sandwiches are budget friendly, thesides were overpriced for the quantity we received. Overall 5 star for taste and unique chicken varieties. Read more
