Reviews for Five Guys in Augusta, ME
The burger was quite good, they added all the requested topping, but cold and the bun was soggy by the time they bothered to... acknowledge me standing at the pick up line. I had ordered ahead online and it had been 10 mins, they estimated about 8 and itshould be ready when I ordered. However ordering online is pretty much useless if you want a shake as they don't make it untilyou are there, I was there at least 15 mins before they bothered to ask for my name so they could track down my order which hadbeen sitting there getting cold and soggy then they painfully slowly made the 2 shakes. The kid set them aside, made 2 shakesfor another order and sent them on their way and then finally bothered to give me mine. The Oreo creme shake was barely mixedand had a big clump of the creme at the bottom. Less than stellar experience. I bet that if the burger had been given to mepromptly it would have been quite good they need a better system. Read more
The only reason I don't give them a five is the wait time for my food. I love this place over any other fast food joint on... earth. I know it takes time to cook which I'm okay with that however it shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a milkshake that'scoming out of a machine. I'm sorry that's too long to wait for a milkshake by any means. All in all 4stars should be given. Read more
Good food, maybe it was just the time of our visit (busy lunch hour) but one soda machine was not working at all, the other was... out of many products. Pointed it out to staff & no one fixed it while we were there so we couldn't get the drinks we wanted. Read more
Five guys is amazing! We love eating inside the restaurant, but tonight we ordered take out tonight, our burgers were delicious,... they were a little heavy handed on the ketchup and barbecue sauce that was on the burgers but otherwise it was amazing! Wealways enjoy eating here! Read more
All I had were the fries and they were very good (crip and not greesy). I did not taste any Cajun seasoning but it tasted good... anyway. I liked the 50 lb sacks of Idaho potatoes stacked when you walk in, proving their fries are "hand-cut" and fried in 100%peanut oil. I just wonder who peels all those potatoes????? Read more
Five Guys, at least this location, is an over-hyped, over-priced burger joint. The hamburger, small as it was, was good, nothing... great. The fries, very abundant in quantity, were good as well but didn't have a freshly cut-up potato taste to them. Mybeverage of choice, a strawberry milk shake was shamefully small for the price and had a strong artificially flavored taste toit. I've had MUCH better food at other Five Guys locations. Read more
