I always wanted to try this place. Today I did, and I'm sorry I did. I got a bagel with scallion cream cheese, and a turkey... sandwich. The bagel was underwhelming and not what I expected, and the cream cheese was awful. Not only that, but they barelyput any cream cheese on the bagel. I'm from NY originally, so I know good bagels and deli. (I keep going back to visit relativeson Long Island, where the bagels are soft and yummy, and the cream cheese plentiful and super tasty). My turkey sandwich was notgood either. They don't have sub rolls or foot longs here, so I had to have it on white bread. Boring! Then, they barely put anyturkey on the sandwich either! This is not what a good deli does. Plus, my husband had a turkey wrap, and he ended up throwingmost of it out, and he said it was disappointing. If you want a good deli in Maine, go to the Camden Deli. If you want goodbagels, there must be some place in Maine that has really good bagels and really good cream cheese, but this isn't it. They alsocharge a lot here, and it's truly not worth it! Read more

Very tasty. I've never really had fresh made bagels outside of here, so I may be biased, but it doesn't stop me from saying... they're the best bagels I've ever had. The best bagel I've tried so far was the olive and rosemary, it was bursting with flavorand it had a little sprinkle of sea salt on top. I need to try new flavors though. They also have a little coffee bar, which Ilove. Also love the little blue flowers they have placed everywhere. Read more

Top rated bagels? It's the cream cheese that's special here! The bagels are definitely different. I think it's the in the way... they are boiled. Solid for sure. Definitely different. Best bagels in New England? I don't think so! Best cream cheese in NewEngland for sure! Coffee 2 or 3 choices not exactly the BEST stop in the morning unless you really love special cream cheeseinstead of a latte. Super expensive considering you have 2 types of coffee you serve your self. Read more

The best Deli and beagle shop in the state. Everything here is amazing, the only bad choice on the menu would be to order... nothing. Read more

Bagels and sandwiches are yummy, however they are expensive and very slow. I always try to place my order over the phone and... have noticed if you order when they?re busy, they won?t prioritize your phone order at all. When I order over the phone closerto their closing time I can just go pick up my bagel normally. But if I order over the phone before 11:30 am when I arrive theytell me to get in line and I have to wait in the long line just to get to the register and them tell me my order isn?t ready...just completely defeats the whole purpose of ordering your stuff over the phone. Also I come in 15-20 mins after I placed myphone order... so it should be ready or at least close to being ready but instead I?m being made to wait an extra 10 in theline. Definitely not the place to order if you?re in a hurry or time crunch. There?s two cashiers so they could fix this veryeasily by having someone on one of the cashiers take the people who order over the phone on the side! I come from NYC so I?mused to an expensive sandwich, but they are even more expensive here somehow. Read more

Grateful the only bagel shop in town does awesome bagels. Hard and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I... usually go for a dozen (you get 13), or a half dozen; but they also do amazing sandwiches by the looks of them. The staff isgreat and I love shopping, buying, and supporting local businesses like Bagel Mainea. Read more

Stopped here after attending a wedding in Augusta. I was looking for a breakfast option as Augusta has few worthy options. Came... in and made a simply order of egg and cheese on a toasted onion bagel. Bagel was delicious but the wait was over 15 minutes. Irecommend calling ahead for pick up if you want something fast and quick. Food is good here so I do recommend you try this placeif you ever are up in Augusta. Read more
