Met friends at this restaurant. Had the chicken fried steak, fish dinners, and chicken fried chicken. Grandson ate all the small... fish dinner which says something! Artichoke spinach dip good. Enjoyed all. Server very nice, young gal. Knowledgeable of menuand beer selections. Location was great to visit, no loud music during dinner hour. Outside dining is an option. Read more
This was the first time I ate at Sugar Shane's Café. I selected the Daily Special which happened to be Creamy Chicken & Noodles... over Mashed Potatoes & Garlic Toast. It was very tasty & a good dinner for the money! Read more
First time going to Sugar Shane?s Cafe. I ordered the fish taco with seasoned rice, husband got chicken fry with mashed potatoes... and gravy, side salad and ordered coconut shrimp and fried pickles. Everything was delicious! Staff was young, but veryattentive and best service we?ve had in a long time in these days of restaurants being short staffed. Will definitely go back! Read more
Hands down, the best chicken fried steak I?ve ever had! The service was above and beyond. Shae was my server. She was very... polite with a bright aura all around her. There was a dinner rush just after I was seated, my order was taken promptly, and whenShae was busy with her other tables, Gracie was sure to ask me if there was anything I needed. I didn?t get the expediters namebut I do remember his friendly face as he was smiling ear to ear while handing me my food. Sugar Shane?s was definitely notingin conversation with my coworkers! Friday of the month karaoke night "free" Monday's Chilli n cinnamon rolls Thursday's Pasta pulled pork sandwiches. Use to behole in the wall bar named oak tree. They have converted into an amazing laid back, bar,, Cafe, retail store,, etc.. In thesummer they have outdoor corn hole on the patio. Seating also available. The service was good, and the food was good. If you are passing through Augusta it is a decent, clean place to eat. Inexpensive.... We got the cheese curds, the Chicken Fried Steak and the Hawaiian Pork Chops. With mashed potatoes, salad and coleslaw. Thesauce for the Hawaiian pork chops was pretty good. Read more

The whole experience at Sugar Shane's was top notch. Starting with the young man who seated us who was so very pleasant. He was... very, very busy but took time with each group he seated. Our server Emma, was such a sweetheart and so nice. I had a wonderfulchef salad, probably the best I've ever had.
