Today me and my husband went in for lunch and there was a young lady that works there who has seizures sitting at a table... looking as if she was about to have a seizure. Her coworkers were checking on her and then she started having them. This teamtook excellent care of their coworker (Mr. Beasley, Ashley never left her side and Victoria covered the floor while this younglady had multiple seizures). Unlike another time when we were leaving out and a manager disregarded her having a seizure andtold the cashier to check on her and he left the building. Teamwork makes the dream work? Read more
Food was excellent as I remember as a teenager. I ate there two days in a row ???? ???? ????
Food was not hot and presentation was not as satisfying either. BBQ chicken was OK, not delicious. You can tell the changes... from over the years... and it does not compare. I would not be as likely to done again. The dining area looks dreary... feltlike I was in a senior facility and not because of its customers. They could stand to liven up the place with fresh paint,pictures and staging/ decor. Read more
The desert lady gets 5 stars. She made our experience a bliss. We had to order her buttermilk chess pie , sweet potatoe pie amd... the strawberry short cake. She gave very good suggestions on food choices. A good wholesome meal. I wish I remembered her namebut she called me a cheerleader. Customer satisfaction at its best! S&S restaurant has always had excellent food... I've noticed the dressing on several occasions (Augusta) hasnt been sifted well... prior to bagging for sometime now; because the hard corn kernel bottom can be painful once bitten down on. The Macon locationshaven't had this happen however to my knowledge... Read more
I have been in this restaurant many times but the experience I had on July the 10th 2022. The food experience was not good my... chopstick was half done the mashed potatoes were cold and the mac and cheese didn't have enough cheese in it. I was extremely disappointed. It was way too expensive, and the quality of the food was pretty much disgusting. My entree was... baked chicken, and it was so salty I could not eat it. The dressing was okay, but pretty much planned. The green beans wereedible, but kind of what you'd find an old folks home. The mashed potatoes were very much like wallpaper paste in both textureand flavor. Again I could not eat them. The salad was at a bowl, but it's a little bit too expensive my whole meal cost me over$16. I won't be going back to the S& S Cafeteria anymore. Read more
I've been coming to S and S for years, over 20. Tonight was a disappointment. Got the baked chicken it was dry. Got the chopped... steak it was hard as a brick and dry and flavorless. The cornbread muffin was dry. Y'all used to be a great restaurant that Iused to come to with my dad and eat. Not sure what happened or if Tonight was a bad night. But im displeased. Hopefully therewill be improvement in the future. Read more
