In Augusta there are very few choices when it comes to seafood. This is a restaurant chain that you can expect decent food and a... fair price. What I like about this location is the staff. They are always friendly and will get you seated and taken care ofeven at busy times. Of course you got to get the cheddar biscuits. Did you even go to Red Lobster if you didn't get these? Itake my youngest daughter here for Daddy's daughter date night. She loves Shirley temple. I don't go here very often because itcan be a challenge to get in the parking lot on Washington Road. However I try not to miss Shrimp Fest. All you can eat shrimpcooked several ways. Luckily that usually falls close to my birthday. Agh. I want to love it but the quality is terrible. The concept of seafood feasting is a great one. For the general public to... afford that at a good quality is not possible. It’s a good example of how high expectation based on the TV ads does not meetreality. You get what you pay for, and sometimes less. The biscuits are the best item to eat here. The rest is just mediocre inevery sense of measure. Pasta is even low quality! How do you mess up pasta? The seafood is all shrunken with a 3D printer toabout 1/4 the size. It’s just a blah chain. Over salted, under flavored. They do a decent fish and chip if you must go here.The coconut shrimp aren’t bad. Food was good. Got the 7oz Sirloin, with broccoli and rice pilaf. Steak was well seasoned, juicy, and cooked to the right... temperature. This is a mixed review, so take from it what you will. The first thing I noticed walking in was that it smelled like a dog odor... inside. The next thing that kind of bothered me was how dirty the menu was. Those are my only two complaints. Other than thatthe service was good, the waiter smelled good every time he walked up to check on me, and the food was great! I would definitelycome back for the food and the service. Read more
