This restaurant was below my expectations and experience in Asian style buffets. The ownership needs a lot of work to improve... the quality of the food, especially for the price! $60 for the buffet with 2 soft drinks and 2 waters (party of 4 - 2 adultsand 2 Elementary Aged Children) - too pricey for the quality and warmth of the food! They offer $1 off for militarydiscount. We arrived about 45 minutes after the restaurant opened. It looked very clean and the lighting over the buffet arealooked very inviting. There was a lingering smell that was unpleasant when walking in. The staff was very nice and did a goodjob clearing our table as needed and drink refills. The food presentation was good and had a good color. Overall, most of thefood we tried was lukewarm at best. This is partly due to the kitchen over filling the pans that go into the warmers. Otherreasons could be mechanical failure of equipment and/or kitchen staff is reheating product partially. A few items were seasonedwell and had a good texture. Most items lacked a good season and was very bland. Pair this with a lukewarm state and this isvery subpar. It is very unlikely that we will return to this restaurant! ??????????????????????? We found the huge, well stocked and maintained buffet to be full of numerous fish, meat, vegetable, salad, fruit, and dessert... options. Service was far better here than at any Chinese Buffet we have tried, mostly in the greater Atlanta, GA or Charleston,SC areas, so far this year. If I could give absolutely no stars I would. We ate here Saturday evening June 25. And it was the absolute worst experience I... have ever had there. We will not be back. Not only was the staff rude and disrespectful. The food for 2 was $40 dollars the barwasn't stocked and those stocking the bar made me uncomfortable by the way they watched and looked at the women going to thebar. We didn't even get to finish any of our food, as our first plate in my Husband got the shrimp lo mein only to find deadGerman cockroaches mixed in with the sauce. When we asked to speak to a manager she not only rushed the food off the bar andrushed his plate to the back but also refused to refund any of the money because they weren't sure as to what happened. This is me and mama's favorite eating places in Augusta,GA. They have a variety of food to make any belly happy:).
