Came here after the river boat tour. Excellent service. We were able to sample the soup; I thought that was a great perk. The... food was all so good. Our server was so attentive and positive. I helped them pick something up, and they came by with a bananapudding on the house as a thank you. I'd recommend this place for a little taste of the South, in more ways than one. Read more

This was once one of my most favorite places to have lunch. What was a normal quick place to have lunch has been replaced with a... different and rushed atmosphere. Immediately upon entry I was greeted with an obnoxious and flamboyant waiter who insisted ongettin me and my family drinks. This made me immediately change my mind about dining in to a to go order. Then apparently wewaited what seemed like a long time. I asked the cashier where our food was after seeing other orders placed and come outbefore, after my order was made. The food was not tasty. The fried chicken was ok but I couldn?t finish the Mac & cheese or the sweet potato casserole. They also... need to improve their dine in system. You have to order at the counter and then the food is brought out to you which led toissues with my order. Read more

Last week, we had a nice lunch here. Today, there is a guy "waiting" on all the tables. I am sure he is nice, but he is out... here yelling directions at everyone and making sure no one steals the condiments or gets their own drink/refill. It isexcessively loud and annoying. This is a counter service restaurant. There are plenty of places around here to have a nicepeaceful lunch, and that is where my family will be in the future. Somewhere else. Read more

This place is definitely a southern comfort- southern hospitality restaurant. This was the first restaurant i visited my first... day in Augusta and it left a beautiful reminder to go back. I wish i were exaggerating about this but its not too bold and inyour face or not too lifeless that you forget it. Great spot, great people. Read more

Excellent venue in downtown Augusta for Weddings. A nice chapel and reception venue. Their food is always good!! The staff is... easy to work with. LSWeddingDJ's have done a number of weddings at this venue. We can light the venue with almost any color youdesire. Read more

I went there for lunch and I was amazingly surprised by the flavor, the warm welcome of our server and the fairly quick service.... I had half sweet and half unsweetened tea as my drink, by far the best tea I have ever tried while in Georgia. The mac andcheese was on point and the gravy delicious. I thought it was a small plate but as I ate it got fully pleased and more thansatisfied with the amount. Read more
