7PM on a Wednesday night and we were seated right away by a friendly hostess. Breona, our smiling, sweet wait staff, brought us... menus, and took our drink order. She was back in a flash with both of our drinks, buttered warm croissants, and she was ready totake our order or give us more time. Husband ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. I got thechicken pot pie with sweet baby carrots. He thoroughly enjoyed his dinner, as did I. The pot pie had a flaky crust, and wasloaded with chicken & veggies. My side carrots WERE sweet! I don?t know what they have for dessert. We were too full to evenlook. Dine in on a Tuesday evening. Seated immediately. On the way to the booth the floor was very slick and I was wearing tennis... shoes. We had to be careful when we got up from the table so we wouldn't fall. The bread was a nice surprise. Ordered Wisconsincheese bites. Arrived hot and served with ranch dipping sauce. The entrees we're a little slower coming out. Ordered the buffalochicken wrap and Key west Chicken & shrimp. Food was luke warm. The food was ok, not as good as I remember. We stopped here in Augusta during a road trip back to Atlanta. I wanted some decent comfort food and I knew Cheddar's had it. We... were seated immediately as there were not many people in the restaurant at the time. It was a Thursday afternoon. Our server wasnice and friendly. We ordered salads but the lettuce was not ready. She apologized a couple of times but it was fine. I orderedthe Chicken Tenders and Ribs with loaded potato and side salad. You can choose salad as a side for 99 cents. That salad is largeenough to be considered a full size. You can have either house salad or Caesar salad I chose Caesar. I was impressed because ithad shavings of Parmesan cheese. It was nice and fresh. I knew from the start that I would be eating the tenders only. Whenthey come straight out the grease they are so good because they are crispy and juicy. No it doesn't have a lot of seasoning butso what. The potato was good and yummy. Had a birthday lunch date for my daughter's best friend.Shr chose Cheddar's and can't say we were anything but amazed.From... service to quality of good. All tasted great and freshly prepared. Check your food before leaving, I ordered Salmon, Broccoli & Cheese Casserole, & Green beans. The only thing I removed from the... photo was the salmon. This is the amount of rice that cost me $15 for my meal. Not only was it the serving size for a toddlerit was watery, salty, and Disgusting. I tried calling to reach Sandra Merritt since it's the name listed at the bottom of myreceipt but no one answered. Cheddar's used to be one of my favorite places but this was a horrible experience. Slowest service ever. 45 minutes for food. Order was messed up. No gravey on county fried steak No dressing for salad. No loaded... bake potato. Save your time and money. Better off at McDonald's. Such a shame to call themselves a restaurant Read more

Service was slow because the one waitress at the bar was serving the bar area and the seated booths by herself. She did a good... job to say it was just her. The food was fresh and hot though. The croissants are still to die for. We have been to thislocation before and since we were in the area we decided to try it again. There is no Cheddars close to where we live so we tryto enjoy when we can. ?? Read more
