I visited this New Hope Mills Cafe & Store a year ago. Their lunch was wonderful, especially their French Onion Soup! I... definitely recommend this place and the pancake sandwich bun is ingenious! It was nice and soft- but firm, and it was a greattwist to the sandwich. The service staff was always attentive. I also looking at all the merchandise in the store. Definitelycheck this place out! After seeing their products for sale all around the area, we decided to check out their cafe and store. The building is not... very impressive from the outside. It looks like big red warehouse with the cafe/store on one end. Inside has a quaint countystyle, with old milling machines and knickknacks on a 2nd floor balcony. Half the space is the cafe in front and the back isthe store. The menu selection for breakfast is what you would expect from a mill, something like 15 different kinds of pancakes,all made with their own products. The lunch menu is pretty extensive too. Sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads. The 11 beanand ham soup was fabulous, the Smash Burger and Chicken Tenders were delicious. We will be going back soon. Read more
They always seem to have a wait. So come here expecting a 15-60+ minute wait. With that being said there is a reason there is... always a wait.The foods pretty good. The pancakes are huge. They have unique food choices on the menu to choose from. The pricesare reasonable.I got a bacon breakfast sandwich which came with home fries.I added extra peppers and onions.I also added on aextra side of bacon .My son got a adult blueberry chocolate chip pancake. He added a extra side of sausage.My daughter got thesweet potato hash. She added a extra side of fruit. My daughters sweet potato hash didn't have any avocado like it was supposedto. Other than that the food was all verry tasty. After we ate we shopped in the store.We purchased a coffee mug, variousflavored honey sticks, and two HUGE cookies. The absolute best pancakes out there. I always have their pancake mix with me here in Brooklyn. I always stock up when I visit.... Their syrup is also a must have! I recommend eating in person in their barn styled restaurant and for sure check out their shop,so you can grab some pancake mix to take home with you. Read more
