I?m kicking myself around for not trying this place sooner. The decor, atmosphere, and quality of food reminds me of my go to... place back in Connecticut. Even down to the quality of the chips and salsa at the table. Opted for the lunch chicken fajitasand was very impressed with the taste, presentation, and portion size. The only thing that I raised to concern about was thatat the booth we sat at, the cross beam underneath the seat was broken, so the bench sagged under the cushion. I made sure to letthe manager know and they moved us promptly and closed off the booth so that no one else would sit in it. Will definitely bevisiting again. Read more

1st time here: Sunday Lunch, since Lotus closed for vacation. Read reviews, drawn to reference to "authentic" Mexican menu that... I seek and would enjoy. Very quick meal delivery once order placed - a nice surprise. Menu is Extensive, moderately priced, entrees well detailed in what specific items they contain. I selected the Burrito California: a large size soft tortilla withcombination of Spanish rice, my choice of black or refried beans, tomatoes, green pepper, onion, shrimp, & steak - covered inwhite cheese sauce. Tortilla Chips & simple dipping sauce served first. Anyway, veggies were nicely roasted, meats were alsonicely done - steak tender and juicy, shrimp tender as well, NOT overcooked. Since this selection was replacing 2 meals for me,I was able to finish without feeling stuffed, otherwise I would have requested a doggie bag. Unsweetened tea: $2.75 $$ I thoughtfor watered down - will skip next time. And NO dessert options ???? / none offered - just wondering - did not study the menubeforehand - meal arrive that quickly. Restaurant itself clean, very colorful table tops and chairs as well - did not have theopportunity to check out the bathroom. Order for pick up option - 2 parties during my Lunch. Staff must be new or perhapsinexperienced ? - no place settings in place, 1 did not understand (? Language barrier) my question, but did seek guidance frommy wait person who was seated way in the back around a corner. Staff of 3 seemed bored? So, this is a place to (I would/will)explore further and become acquainted with over time. Read more

If you're looking for cheap tacos, go to taco bell. Unlike Margaritas across the road this place is legitimate Mexican food that... is authentic to Mexican culture. The atmosphere stands true to what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. Hand painted tablesand even hand sculpted furnishings. The food is delicious! The supreme enchilada's are my go to Mexican dish when I go out. Theytasted great! The only down side was that I wish it was served with rice, I had to order that on the side. Can't go wrong withthe price either. Two meals and drinks kept us under a $50 bill. Can't say that about other restaurants in the area. This is nowmy favorite restaurant in the L/A area. Read more

Worse restaurant experience EVER!! Will NEVER go back! Service was horrible. Waitress couldn't speak english at all. Don't get... me wrong, I'm all about authentic, but it was ridiculous! We were sat at the filthiest booth A#10 was our table. Table numberswere stuck on the walls, some with blue tape. My bench was not cleaned it had a pen, straw and a lot of food in the crack.Something all over the wall and the back of the seat. Still hoping that's salsa! Food and flies all over the wall as high up aswe could see. My husband's bench had a huge tear in the vinyl and a dirty cell phone charger on the seat still plugged into thewall. Waitress and manager, possibly owner, bussed tables, never sanitized, and even pushed trash cans through the restaurant toclean tables off. When we showed the waitress not much was said. We told the guy ringing us up at the register nothing much wassaid. And then I look over to see the so called manager or owner go over and actually check the bench with his hand to see ifit's dried on! Guess what?! It most certainly was! No compensation. $50 for a meal that we couldn't even eat and left on thetable for all the fruit flies to indulge in! I have waitressed, bartended and hosted and my husband has done cooking andmanagement in restaurants. It was absolutely disgusting! They don't care about giving good service at all! It was a disgrace! Read more
