We love this restaurant and wish they'd open one on the southwest side of South Bend. We only come here once a year for the... Auburn festival. We ALWAYS eat here. The pizza is awesome with a fantastic crust. The "Daphne " is a terrificsandwich/Flatbread. The side dish of pasta was enough for a whole meal. (We're old so smaller portions for us????) I had themeatball appetizer which was wonderful. The staff is warm and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean. Honestly, if youlike Italian food, this is the place to go. Read more
Went for the first time 3 of us had bread sticks were great. One had Fettuccine Alfredo other tortilene and I had white clams... and ir was very good until I discovered no clams. The server brought a fresh one asap and it was great. Brought back the firstone in a Togo box. Did not expect that and was quite surprised. Great place will be back with more friends! Read more
I wanted a quiet, dark restaurant to have a glass of wine and good meal after a long day of traveling and meetings. This was not... that. It was better. I usually eat alone in my hotel room when I travel, solo, but I hadn't ordered ahead and decided to sit.The lively atmosphere and friendly service was good, but the FOOD WAS AMAZING. I ordered the bruschetta and the blackenedsalmon. I tried to limit myself on the bruschetta but it was so delicious. The flavors played against each other to be both warmand crusty and cool and flavorful. The salad was fresh, crunchy, and had a delicious flavor-the best Cesar dressing I've everhad. Good value, great food and fantastic service! Anette took the time to explain how everything is prepared and how each dish could... be modified to your liking, was extremely attentive keeping drinks topped off and was just overall cheery and amazinglypleasant. I ate at Salvatore's in Auburn. It was pretty good. The waitress was really friendly to the patrons. I was able to be seated... right away and there was a very quick wait. I went with my parents and they had a lasagna and a sandwich. My mom ate the holeson you she was very satisfied. I had breadsticks and the baked ziti. It was delicious as well.
