Reviews for tre Pazzi trattoria in Auburn, CA
Great outside table, heaters work perfectly. Lasagna the best I ever had, Mista salad perfect. Despite being very crowded,... service was great. Can't wait to go back. Read more
We have been coming here for years and spending thousands. Average ticket price with a bottle of wine is over $100. My how it... has changed. Server was unattentive and cold. Had to ask twice just for water. I made the mistake of asking for a straw and saltand she seemed offended (like we are environmental terrorists). The dinner portion was minimal. She cleared the table but we satfor 10 mins waiting for the check. There were only 3 tables. Just not friendly. Ruined an enjoyable evening out. We won't beback for quite awhile. Read more

My husband and I came here for date night. We were barely acknowledged by the staff - they pointed at an open table for us to... sit at and dropped off waters and menus without saying a word to us. Then they ignored us. No one took our drink order, myhusband had enough time to download Google translate and read through the entire menu and specials twice, and then we sat thereand twiddled our thumbs hoping someone would give us the time of day while the waiters visited the tables around us. Spoileralert - didn't happen. We left after we were passed numerous times and no one spoke a word to us. Auburn Alehouse down thestreet is much better! Read more
It was okay?Tables had reservation signs on them, but then no one came in for those tables and we got stuck in the corner by the... kitchen when most the room was empty? Gnocchi was good but the serving size was pretty small. Bread was underwhelming. No oil orbalsamic with it had to ask for butter. The tiramisu was disappointing. I?ve never been to an Italian place where they didn?tmake their own tiramisu. It was more like a chocolate cake than tiramisu since it didn?t have lady fingers in it. Overall so so.Experience could have been better. My highlight was the gnocchi. Read more
This restaurant was underwhelming. Firstly, all of the empty tables had reserve signs on them. At first we almost turned right... around and left. But eventually a hostess approached us and removed a sign and let us sit down. I just want to say how bizarrethis is. Felt like a ploy. Secondly, while the menu was nice in that it was in mostly Italian, the food itself was not what Iexpected. It said many things were house made, but I think they could have done better with the house made bread and marinarasauce. Underseasoned. I also wish our waitress had introduced herself, I didn't know her name or have a way to have her come toour table when we needed assistance. We tried several different dishes, but the one I enjoyed was the tiramisu and the waitresstold me they don't even make it. Feels like I missed opportunity, Italian restaurant that doesn't make its own tiramisu. Thearea and restaurant itself was cute, so I hope they can take my criticism constructively. I would return if they madeadjustments to the food. Read more
This is a cute Italian restaurant with great food and wine. You can tell the locals love this place, so it's a great stop for... dinner after a hike or day on the water. We also had a chance to meet the owner and he was extremely nice. I would highlyrecommend their bruschetta! Read more
We come here several times. This is a great Italian place for locals. Dressed casually or up for the night this place doesn't... care. It's very casual yet the food is amazing. We tried the lasagne, bolognese, and fettuccine Primavera. All great choices!Recommend the fettuccine Primavera out of all though. Read more
