The waiter was amazing and very kind and understanding. That being said, we waited a almost 2 hours for our food. When our food... eventually did come 2 people at our table ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was undercooked. There were severalpartially raw spots and striated as well. When we raised the concern to our waiter he went to check with the chef and instead ofthe chef coming to check themselves our waiter came back telling us it is supposed to look like that. Again, not his fault andall and they ended up giving us a discount but not enough considering it was not edible. We were very sad because we have had agreat experience every other time we went there. We went here for a nice night out and a birthday dinner. I do recommend a reservation. They got quite busy by about 6... PM. Pros; To start, this is a very modern farmhouse style restaurant that's tastefully done and prides itself on sourcing localfresh ingredients. So 5/5 on that. I'd rate the food itself as likely some of the best in Auburn It's very much prepared withlove and care. I would definitely recommend the Farmers Daughter appetizer and the wedge salad. Both were fantastic. Thedessert board was done very nicely and everything on it was good. I had the Steak Frittes and my wife had the sous videchicken. Both were good, but not great. The entrees themselves were likely the weakest part of the meal. But to be clear, thisreview likely deserves to be 5 stars, but its getting 4 stars for now because I'd like to see them explore more potential aroundthe entrees section of the menu and strive for perfection. Cons; Our table was quite small. We did have to juggle things arounda bit, including a lit candle to make our salads fit along with the appetizer. Our server was a bit quirky, and kept us waitinglonger than we would have preferred on a couple of occasions. They don't have Moscato (a personal grievance on an otherwiseextensive wine list.) Overall, this restaurant is a must try. We will be back. And I do recommend it. Read more

Our server, Isabella was so sweet and attentive. She made us feel so welcomed, as did every staff member we encountered from the... hostesses to the server assistants! The food was also amazing! The two appetizers we got, our drinks, and the entreés were thebest things we've had during our entire 3 day trip. Definitely will recommend to anyone who asks about brunch in Alabama. Read more

What an amazing brunch!!! Started off with the Housemade Coconut & Banana toast for the table. Good serving size to share with... 3-4 without spoiling your appetite. The coconut isnt overpowering and the banana isnt as sweet as banana bread which was good sothat it wasnt too filling. The French Press coffee was excellent. We ordered the Chicken and Waffle Bennie, Brioche FrenchToast, and the Lucy Big Bad Breakfast. I have not had a savory chicken and waffles before and this is now my fav. Came with ahalf waffle, excellent chicken, with an egg, and sausage gravy. The sausage had a sweet taste giving the whole combo anexcellent balance. So delicious. I had a bite of the French toast, and it had great flavor, was very soft, but with a crunch. Iwas told the big bad breakfast tasted wonderful. I did snag some bacon which was crisp, yet had the good fatty parts. We made itabout 11 on a Sunday and just beat the crowd. Plenty of parking and wonderful ambiance. Next time I am back this way I will becoming back in to try the pancakes!!! Read more

Had brunch recently on a Saturday. Beautiful, calming atmosphere. The service was very good and attentive. The food tasted... great. Be sure to try the donut holes - they are fried to perfection. The best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Also the trufflefries are way too good to share. I look forward to coming back for dinner. Read more
