Good food horrible experience, I have had good luck with the habit locations I have visited in Arizona and California, but that... streak stops in Atwater. I have already taken the time to complain to corporate because if this "policy" is true then it's oneof the weirdest ones I have heard of. Let's say you place an order online for Starbucks coffee, you indicate that you're comingin to pick up the coffee but then you change your mind and go to the drive-thru, now I have done this in the past withabsolutely no issues at all they just move the order from the customer pickup and bring it to the drive-thru window without anyincident. I was pleasantly shocked by the lady working the drive-thru that was very short and dismissive of my issue in at onepoint stop talking and that prompted me to drive up to the window and have to wait for someone to speak to me. Please help meunderstand why do you place an order online that is paid for, and if you want to pick it up in the Drive-Thru window they denyyou that because it's "company policy". Well never knew flexibility was a problem for receiving a paid order, I'm not unber eatsor GrubHub, I'm the actual customer who ordered and paid on his app and came to pick up his food. I can say after thoroughlyinspecting our food it was of good quality is always, but the disappointing customer service experience really put a dark cloudover the entire experience. Please let your customers pick up their paid orders without any drama, we came for food nottheatrics. Read more
I ordered the steak sandwich, so where's the steak? I wasn't very happy with my sandwich but everything else was pretty good.
We took the grandkids here to have lunch after working them in the morning. Burgers are great and fries are huge servings! I've... taken burgers home, but in person they are better. Only downside is that the tables in the dining area were not cleaned off andwe had to have someone wipe off a table. And the ice machine only spit out about 3 cubes at a time. Read more
Food was hot and fresh and the burgers were better than some of the other habits I've been too. I was used to Habit burgers... being a bit greasy but these weren't at all. I got a double char and sweet potato fries. The fries were a little overdone for myliking but overall the food and staff were great. Will be returning when I want a quick burger. Read more
I always enjoy my trips to the Habit. This was my first visit to this location. The restaurant was clean and well designed. The... staff was friendly and helpful. I tried the Cubano burger and spicy beans. The burger was good with lots of meat. I would rateit about 7/10. The beans were ok. They're just the regular Tempura beans with a red pepper sauce. I don't usually care for thebeans but these were a step up. I'd give them 5/10. My favorite is still the tuna sandwich. Read more
The food was done relatively quickly while also tasting fresh (and yummy), and the staff were very friendly. I didn't get a pic... of everyone's food, but pictured is the Teriyaki burger (minus tomato, but with everything else on it: lettuce, mayo, pickles,pineapple and the teriyaki beef patty), two sides of fries and one order of Spicy Sriracha Greenbeans. Yum! Also, while there,the staff were doing a great job in keeping the dining area and restrooms clean. (We saw them cleaning while ordering andcleaning while we were eating). Read more
Arrived around 11:15 AM and had the inside to myself. The drive-through was busy. This is a newer location for the Habit - lots... of other restaurants, stores and a car wash nearby. I was promptly greeted when I entered. My order was ready in a reasonableamount of time and was hot off the grill. Had the Santa Barbara Char with no pickles and a mocha shake. Both were excellent. I?ve heard a lot of hubbub about the habit and how good it is. Well, I stopped on my way home from work a month ago. I had the... chicken club sandwich which I could not taste any chicken because it was cooked on the same grill the fish was cooked on. It wasthe worst burger I?ve had in my life and I?m 61 years old. So I?ve had a few burgers. I discovered dish with the first bite ofcourse. So I went to the register and asked one of the employees how was the chicken cooked . And mentioned the problem and wastold that yes the fish is cooked on the same grill as the other food. And next time I come in if I did not want that to happen,or to taste to let them know and they would not put the two together. I don?t know about everybody else, but I know one thingyou do not cook fish in the same pan or grill as everything else. So needless to say. That will be my last trip to that habit,and to think that I would have to request my food being cooked separately from fish.
