While spending the weekend at the Tropicana Casino & Resort with my Mom, we were looking for a ?non-casino? breakfast option. By... no stretch of the imagination would I consider myself cheap, however, I cannot justify spending $50 + for breakfast for (2)people; especially for sub-par food. A quick Google search turned up Maria?s Luncheonette. We decided to be adventurous andgive it a shot. A ride that took less than (5) minutes brought us to Maria?s; a small, quaint breakfast spot. The menu wasposted on the window outside and the prices and selections seemed reasonable. We went inside and the place was jumping, not aseat in the house. We put in our name and within 5 minutes we were seated. We ordered and within 5-7 minutes our food arrivedand it was incredible looking. My Mother and I were BEYOND pleased. The food was hot and fresh and the presentation wasAMAZING!! Additionally, the staff was pleasant and attentive. Refilling our drinks, and checking on us to see how our foodtasted and if we needed anything else. I always love an opportunity to support small business and Maria?s officially has becomeour go-to spot for breakfast in Atlantic City!!! I ordered through UberEats. The grilled cheese bread is super stale. I would expect the delivery food to be not as hot as it... would be if I was at the restaurant but my order was extremely cold! Their French Toast is dingy and advertised as if they arefluffy and great. I asked for French Vanilla Ice coffee and they gave me black ice coffee and being at a hotel I don't have anyFrench vanilla, so my coffee for the morning is ruined. The bacon was soggy and it had that kind of fridge taste to it. I alsoasked for extra syrup, butter, & napkins. I received 4 small packs of butter, 1 container of syrup and 2 napkins (yes 2). Iwouldn't recommend ordering from here nor will I ever order from this establishment again, that is my experience. Read more
I ate here over the 4th of July weekend for breakfast. The service was spot on and my server Jocelyn was friendly and attentive.... I ordered the Italian Sausage Omelette with a cup of coffee. The omelette and coffee itself was very good. The home fries thatcame with it needed more seasoning and flavor, which was easily fixed when I added a whole lot of salt. The restaurant from theoutside looks rather dinky, but when you go inside you can see that it is quite spacious and very clean. They also provide freeparking which is convenient. This establishment is one of those small Mom/Pop spots that serves amazing breakfast in the AC area. The place looked packed.... Although there was a wait time when our party arrived, tables were available within 15 mins wait time. The staff was courteousand food was well made. Definitely recommend a visit. Read more
Love having brunch here before heading back to NYC. Generous portions. Waffle is not what I expected cos it?s not a Crispy and... fluffy type but I still enjoy it with all the fresh fruits and yummy ice cream. Kids love it ???? Will come back. Thanks! Read more
Friendly staff!! Smiles and polite for all customers. The place was very busy. Waiting line outside; however, we only waited... about 10 minutes to get our table. Food came out hot, and portions were perfect size. We had a Western Omlet, corn beef hash, and the French Toast platter. Nothing fancy just good home cooking. Just took one star off since we had to ask to coffeerefills. It would have been nice if the had someone walk around refilling cups. Read more
Maria's Luncheonette was very delicious. It was not crowded and we were able to seat ourselves immediately. The staff was... extremely friendly, patient and nice. Food came out quick and hot. The restaurant was very clean. Definitely would be my topbreakfast spot to visit when we return to Atlantic city. Read more
