I wish I could remember our servers name, but she had brown hair and green eyes and was beautiful, BUT that?s besides the point.... She was absolutely amazing and so personable. Our food was amazing both times we went (2 days in a row) and I couldn?t speakbetter about this establishment! Being able to sit outside in the sand was a plus since we had a 7 y/o with us. Cool local joint with a small indoor seating area but a very large outdoor beer garden. Friendly staff & wide selection of... beers, including some German style beers. I highly recommend the grilled Mahi and also the fried fish. Both the onion stringsand seasoned fries are worth trying. Read more
This is a great little spot to stop for a drink and some snacks! The staff was incredibly kind, and there was plenty of seating... in spite of being a smaller establishment. It's right around the corner from beach access making it easy to pop in after a hotday on the beach. We had cheese curds and two beers, unfortunately they were out of one of the beverages I was looking for butthe server was knowledgeable and was able to quickly offer up a replacement that ended up being really good! Kudos to theirknowledge and to their fast service, we can't wait to come back. There is seating inside and outside as well, parking is onstreet or in one of the side parking lots near the establishment. Overall it was easy to find and easy to park the vehicle evenon a Saturday. It could be because it was off season but still a great experience. The area is also very walkable and there area bunch of little shops to check out too. Read more

I enjoyed eating at Idle Hour Biergarten. The house burger and bavarian pretzel tasted very good. The burger was well cooked and... topped with onions, pickles, and special sauce. The pretzel was soft, buttered, and also came with special sauces. The meal andoverall atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress was friendly, but took a long time to take ourorder and the food took awhile. Other than that, this is a very pleasant low-key restaurant by the ocean. Read more
Great spot to sit outside and have food and adult beverages! It is on the beach although you?d have to walk around the corner to... see the ocean. Lots of outdoor seating and good music, a good cross-section of craft beers, a few wine options and mixed drinks.We enjoyed the seafood baskets but the menu covers everything from seafood to burgers and brats. Ate here for the first time on Wednesday 8/18/21....and we will be back and back and back again! Perfect menu. Perfect setting. ... Wow!! Really enjoyed this place!! Food was so delicious and our server was just the greatest!! She was so helpful and just and... so sweet! We had the grilled blackend MahiMahi basket and the house burger! Also the fried cheese curds and Bavarian pretzelwith beer cheese! It was fantastic! The atmosphere was really nice!
