4.5 | this place is great! loved the atmosphere and super authentic feel to the restaurant. they did a great job with the... banchan, lots of yummy bites to snack on while we waited. we also got their dumpling appetizers, which was rlly solid. I hadthe DUHDUCK DAEGEE BULGOGI and WOW. it was so yummy. it's a different take on the bulgogi, which is always my go to, that Iappreciate. the bellflower root is na interesting add, and adds more bite to the dish. the flavours are absolutely rich, and theportion size was very satisfying. others enjoyed their dish too, but I think mine was the best as we all tried each other's. Iwant to try the Dulsot Bulgogi the next time, and do various menu items. very authentic and probably some of the best Koreanfood I've had in Atlanta. we will be going back often. update - we go back at least twice a month. this place is now a stapleand my new favourite thing is the kalbi. I?ve also tried a few of their noddle bowls, and their speciality items like the KalbiChim, which I loved, and the Jeju Black Pig Bosam. Read more

The tofu soup (soondubu) is tremendous. The kalbi is nice and the sides top it off. Would recommend and comeback

First off the interior of this restaurant is so beautiful!! It feels very clean and pleasant while also giving the impression of... being outside in a lil Korean patio. The presentation of the meals was fantastic, we got our appetizer and meals super quickly, and our server, Jenna, was PHENOMENAL. She was so attentive to all our needs, answered all our questions about the menu, andchecked up on us regularly with a positive demeanor. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back! Thank you somuch! Read more

Wow! Exceeded my expectations. We stopped by for an early dinner today since we were picking something up in the area. The... service was great and everyone was very friendly. I ordered the budae jigae (Korean army stew), which came with a ton ofthings. It was brought to a boil in front of us and the server was kind enough to cut things up and plate it for us. This kimchistew included spam, rice cakes, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, mandu, dumplings, tofu, ramen and more. It is meant to feed 2-4people and the portion was absolutely huge! The spice level was perfect and broth was well seasoned but not too salty. Mysister ordered galbi tang, which is a rib bone stew that came with clear noodles, tender meat, eggs and scallions. This was solight and delicious - my sister ate the whole thing! I highly highly recommend getting this dish. The food also came withcomplimentary banchan (small side dishes) like string beans, kimchi, potatoes, fish cakes, bean sprouts and more. I can?t waitto return to try their bibimbap and kimchi stew. Nothing short of fantastic! Every dish reminded me of Pusan, ROK. They do not "Americanize" the menu. The meals are not... precooked. They cook them as you order. You can also bring your own wine ($10 corking fee). Read more

I was introduced to this place from Eater vlogger Matthew Kang and was a bit skeptical because his other picks were... questionable. But my family and I found that Woonamjeong is the real deal. The food, from the banchan to the entree is seasonedwith nostalgia and care, and there is depthness to every bite. You can tell the banchan was curated and flavored for anauthentic Korean palate and every bite is consumed with homemade flavor. The soondubu has a deep flavor, probably from themushroom that infused the umami flavor. The specialty of the house is their hot stone rice bowls that coats each bite in thesizzling crust. Every bite from this restaurant brings home memories of my grandmother's cooking. Be patient with the service, flavors this good need to be savoured. Read more

My favorite place for spicy seafood stew - SO GOOD! When we were there, they had only two people running the whole restaurant... and they did a great job serving everyone. The restaurant was packed, so plan accordingly or you'll have to wait a bit for atable. Read more
