Just grabbed some quick Togo food, but the staff was super nice and accommodating.
After 11pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, 5 of us make our way to Waffle House after an early evening at Johnny?s. Pair... of APD?s finest in the corner booth, one gentleman at the counter, no one else other then us and a duo of Wahoo?s best. Servicewas on point, particularly when given our state, only to be followed up by the most coordinated and delicious meal this man hasever had. There are times that the yellow and black checkered house of waffle delivers beyond all expectations and this was oneof them. The food was correct and good. KUDOS to the cook who despite the chaos remained calm and focused on taking care of the customers... waiting for their food. WOW, what a night and day difference with staffing at this location. MOST ALL of the waitresses were alltalking loudly and using profanity to and at each other. I thought at one point they were about to start a physical altercation.I assume a member of management finally came out and attempted to address their behavior proposing a quick huddle resulting inmellowing out the women who continued to bicker at a reasonable level. I understand co-workers don't always get along and haveto talk it out now and again but there is a time and place for everything and in front of paying customers is not the place whenall you wanted is some breakfast in peace. The food on day shift is super nasty. I ordered the All Star with scrambled eggs w/cheese, grits w/cheese, and it was supposed... to come with biscuits but they gave me toast. The bacon was good but the waffle was okay. This was after 11am, so I guess theday cook literally can't cook. Yuck!!!! And tell me why the grits were brown with a weird taste and smell, the eggs were so so.Didn't even finish my food, I threw most of it out. I only came to this location because the food on the overnight shift wasreally good but now I am supper disappointed and won't ever be back to this location ever!!!! Read more
