No wonder Waffle House stays in business. They ALWAYS have great food, and it is always served by standout people. Their hiring... process must be intense. I once ordered a bowl of grits, and it tasted horrible, like burned plastic. The manager apologized andcomped my meal, went and checked the grits and returned to thank me for reporting it because there really was something terriblywrong with the grits, and they would be throwing out the whole batch. Comping the meal was more than adequate, but returning tothank me and explain that I was not just a fussy diner was above and beyond! Read more
It?s 3:00 am and I pop into Waffle House for my favorite Waffle House Meal - cheesesteak! The only person inside the restaurant... is the chef who is sitting down at a table. I walk inside and wait for 3 minutes before the young lady I passed outside comesinside. She?s a Waffle House employee who was outside talking on her phone and let me wait a few minutes until she came in. I am43 years old and I don?t think I have ever been treated so dismissively and outright disrespectfully before this. She walkedback and forth behind the counter and walked over to me to take my order. I?m still the only customer in the restaurant at thistime. 2 other customers walked in and she walks over to them and takes their order. I told her I was here and I order acheesesteak. My 2 brothers walked in and I added further to my order. 6 customers came into the restaurant and ordered foodAFTER me. My cheesesteak is still not on the grill. I politely ask the male chef if he remembered my order. The female employeewith the red hair dye and the artificial baby hair told me I had to wait because the customer?s who ordered AFTER me ?had a bigorder ? so I have to wait. I told her that didn?t make sense. I was hear first and my order is smaller. Instead of just sayingsorry we forgot your order, she says ?this is Waffle House. I don?t know how they do it where you?re from but this is how we doit? she then tells the chef to cancel my order and he promptly throws what?s been started in the trash. She told me to leave therestaurant so I leave the restaurant. My brothers told me after I left, she threw their food in the trash as well. She told meto go to the Waffle House up the street. I told her I?m going to talk to her manager and corporate if I need to. If the managerof this restaurant doesn?t acknowledge how that behavior is NOT encouraged by WH, then I will go to corporate. As Waffle Houses go, it was cleanish and the staff was friendly. as we walked in there were a couple of tables that had a lot of... crumbs on them. The service was a little laggy, even though it wasn't that busy and there were about 6 servers. The bathroomarea had a faint urine odor as it was approached. The food was good but my bacon was a little burnt in places. Read more
Customer service was great in our experience. I missed the name of the crew (my bad) but we're highly satisfied. We're family of... five and ordered All-Star Special for my kids. They loved the waffles but not the hashbrown. The bacon was crispy and tastegood. Food serving was just enough and we're able to take out. There's just unpleasant moment/noise from someone but we justignored it and the crew was able to manage him. Read more
Waffle house in atlanta is so good compared to others. The waffles were nice but the hash browns weren't as good, we had to get... take out because dine in was blocked off by chairs? I'm sure they had a reason for it. Read more

Worst location ever. For starters they don?t even let you come in to order your food. You have to order outside at a to go... window ? which is kind of dangerous if you?re trying to place an order after dark because there is a lot of crime in that area.It?s also freezing, who wants to stand outside in 32 degree weather? & if you try to call in to place an order so you don?t haveto wait outside, they?ll either answer the phone & hang up or ignore the call altogether.
