Came for a Sunday Jam Session for the first time, music and performances were great. A great hidden space. However a one item... menu being served during, should not take a 50 minute wait time. Service was very poorly managed. Read more

Use to be a great neighborhood Resturant with fabulous food, live music and a wonderful vibe. Then came the remodel the vibe,... the food and the neighborhood feel were destroyed. Now it?s a terrible sounding music room so sad. Read more

The only place to really experience live music, real musicians, real singers, and local artists... I only attend on Sundays for... the open mic and more rnb feel... Ignore the background funny acting diva singers (not all but trust you'll know them when yousee them) and you'll be fine... Performers pay 5 non performers pay 10 Read more

I love, love, love Venkman?s! This is a such a cute location and they host a jazz jam on Wednesday nights from 7-10 hosted by... Joe Gransden and it?s just a great vibe. As a singer the sound system is ????, 10/10 , ??????????. It just has a great volume, tone, and it?s so fun and therapeutic to sing. (I know that?s a lot but it really is a great system. ) if you?re looking forsomewhere to go and have a chill night with cool people I would definitely recommend taking a visit to Venkman?s. *on theWednesday night jazz jam they don?t serve food just drinks at the bar, but you can bring in outside food if you like Read more

The band Common Ground Collective was absolutely amazing!!! Afro-Funk at its finest! The venue is nice, I just wish they would... bring that wonderful chef back. We tried to eat across the street at Bantam Pub but left still hungry due to the blatant racismdisplayed. Read more

My first time here for their Saturday night show (they have other nights and even a Sunday brunch). Bought the $35 cover charge... online. The photos online showed tables and chairs and suggested to get there early for a table which are first come firstserved and "not guaranteed". However, for this night it was standing only (as forewarned, not guaranteed you'll get a seat)unless you reserved a group table. This seemed a bit deceptive and I think this should have been clearer on thewebsite. Nevertheless, the show was fun and the place was packed (the reason the tables and chairs were put away). The houseband Yacht Club is an accomplished 70's "tribute" wearing typical 70's clubbing clothes (tight bell bottoms, polyester shirtswith big collars unbuttoned halfway, sunglasses, puka she'll necklace, etc.). Many in the audience are obviously loyal fanswearing similar garb and some with nautical caps. All in all the night was pretty fun and unique. The band played one long set. Read more

Venkman's is back! This place is an excellent intimate venue with a variety of performances, and we're so happy to see them back... after closures due to the pandemic! One difference for those who have been to the venue in the past - the food is VERY differentfare than before. I don't know if they plan on sticking to the menu we had (which was all very tasty by the way!), but it wasall tacos and nachos and chips and dip where before it was much more of a variety and higher end kind of vittles. Just in caseyou were expecting the kind of food they have served in the past so you aren't caught by surprise. Read more

Love the bottomless mimosas at Venkman?s. We?ve had brunch and dinner there on several occasions and overall have been pretty... pleased with the food, but this time, a lot of things aren?t available and the food just felt rushed and hit or miss. I?m hopingit?s a one off, but with all the great choices around O4W, I?m not sure if it will be my first choice on the list. I do love theVenkman?s Griddle at brunch and really miss the cinnamon roll on the menu. Read more
