This is the place to go for all, family, intimate date, girl friends and more. I'd definitely go for the brunch with the whole... family and in the evening with a date or a group of friends. The food is freshly made, I loved the egg roll collard greens!Yummy, yum, ???? As you can see from the pics, we started eating our meal before I took the pics for you. Lol... For those ofyou who like a good drink or two, they have a full bar available for ya! Our waitress was very informative regarding the menuand she was super friendly. First time eating at Twisted Soul. Pretty good drinks. The appetizers salmon spring rolls and fried green tomatoes were very... good. The main entrees were just ok. The fried chicken my friend had seemed like (if they brine the chicken) it was too salty.The combinations or twist on the various soul food components didn’t mesh well with me or my other guest. Everything was absolutely amazing!!! Food, service, & ambiance were spot on! The server was very knowledgeable about the chef... and her culinary vision. It’s not a huge restaurant but it isn’t stuffy! It’s just right!! Lol!! We were a party of 6 andthere were no complaints at the table! My favorite hands down were the Salmon Rolls!!! The best $22 I’ve spent in a longwhile! But the collard rolls are good also for the vegetarians! The grits and veggie omelette were delish as well! If I had anysuggestions, it would be to have live music during brunch! Some nice jazz would have just been the icing on the cake! My girlfriend brought me and my daughter here for Father’s Day and we had an amazing dinner. It was our first time trying this... spot. My take - feels like contemporary take on soul food classics and in my opinion, they got it right! The Food: SouthernMarinated Fried Chicken with Macaroni & Braised Collard Green Roll, Hoisin Glazed Oxtails & fried rice, and a mushroom & collardgreen pesto pasta. All where very good, tasty & flavorful. The bartender made a set of cool and well-balanced cocktails, whichalone are worth a visit to the bar. The staff is friendly and attentive. Wow. So far, so good. I’m blown away by the menu. I was nervous that the food would put me in the bed so I didn’t go all... out. Advice, GO ALL OUT! The quality won’t knock you out. Very light, easy to enjoy and it won’t pack on pounds. Enjoy ????John served us well. We’ll be back! Read more

Wow what an awesome experience! We absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! Tim did an amazing job taking care of us,... introducing us to the menu, and explaining everything about the restaurant. All the food was so amazing from the fried greentomatoes to the fried chicken and prawn and grits. Prawn and grits were the winner. Lord have mercy that cornbread though!!! Read more

This restaurant has excellent customer service. Our waitress knew each ingredient and spoke so passionately about the menu. I... ordered the duck which is served with sweet potatoes and collards-great pairing! I did wish that the food came out a bit warmerand the duck skin a bit crisper than what it was but I still managed to enjoy it. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich whichshe said was good. Everything was amazing from the staff down to the food. My mom and I split the most popular items. The food wasn't heavy at all.... It was definitely well portioned. I didn't feel overly stuffed but very satisfied. I would highly recommend. Read more
