Wonderful opportunity to have the chef’s omakase and it was a wonderful experience! Negroni was also delicious. Bread pudding... was ok, but should have maybe opted for a different dessert to end the meal indulgently. Read more

Really an amazing experience. The sushi chefs were friendly and knowledgeable. I said at the sushi bar and was not disappointed.... I had the sushi sashimi combo which you see in the picture posted here. The fish was fresh tender and it was a fairly goodselection. I recommend anyone in the Buckhead area check it out. Read more

My friend Frank first introduced me to Tomo three years ago. It’s truly sad I didn’t know about it earlier. Consistency and... quality is the bread and butter of this restaurant. Every piece of sashimi and nigri is fresh and the beat cut of the fish.Presentation also adds to the appeal. We started with one of my favorite appetizers the soft shell crab. Our second dish was anew Usuzuki, the presentation of this particular dish was thoughtful and helpful. You only need a sliver of the gelatinizedponzu sauce as the fish is delicate and to get the right combination of fish, spice and salty a sliver is more than enough. Myboyfriend’s salmon in Teriyaki was cooked to perfection however the Teriayaki glaze was very generous. Less is more in thiscase. However as teriyaki sauces go, it was sweet in proportion to the salty. My nigri was very good, the Toro was just theright amount of light oily fishy taste one dreams of. Despite our server’s impatience with us and forgetting my boyfriend’sroll which we didn’t mind because he was full, we had a wonderful time. All in all we came for the food so every dish wasgood. Went for Omakase twice! You can pick tiers on how expensive the ingredients will be ~ chef tomo is very charismatic and fun to... host too! I enjoyed sharing drinks and our fun conversations! My group enjoyed the events both times~ booking the reservationwas easy. I emailed them and they ask for allergies or food sensitivities~ there’s valet parking or just pass them for selfparking in the deck ~ Read more

Great place for delicious sushi with down to earth services. Their omakase is an experience and so good; seating is limited, so... you'll need to reserve much in advance. Read more

The brunch was a great deal. All you can drink and eat. It was pricey but the fact that you can order as much good quality sushi... as you would like made it worth it. The unagi and teriyaki salmon also had amazing flavor. Very smoky and charred. The unagi didhave an interesting numbing sensation afterwards (Sichuan peppercorns?). My favorite thing that was offered was the seared fattytuna. I would recommend going with mainly the seafood and not really going with things that would fill you up (eg. ramen, friedrice, etc…) I see myself coming back and having the sushi again (the sushi was better than the maki in my opinion). I did not try their entree or rolls and ordered nigiri instead. The nigiri were really great, fresh, rich, and creamy. Toro... nigiri melted in my mouth. Tempura was good. The black seaseme ice cream was a little too sweet for me, but I liked thepresentation and the strong seaseme flavor. Overall it was a nice place to visit. I was a little surprised that there were noone there when I visited. It was a Friday night and usually you would expect more people there. Not sure if Covid had an impacton it... Anyways, the price was a little high for me as I've been to other great Japanese restaurants which have the same levelof food but less expensive. Read more

Don’t be fooled by the restaurant being in the Ritz-Carlton residences. Tomo is as basic as a sushi place can be. The fish was... fine. It lacked the vibrant and luscious tones of fresh fish. They were out of all fresh crab, offering only imitation krab. Imention that because there are a lot of crab items on the menu. The only spicy or hot condiment they had was “spicy mayo.” The place was loud with diners screaming at a baseball game on TV. Several people were coughing and hacking - endlessly. OverallI found it to be a lackluster experience. There are better sushi places in Atlanta. Read more
