Good. Atmosphere was nice. Sushi was meh. Tangerine chicken was subtly spicy and not overly sweet. Nice presentation. Mango... chicken was too sweet for me. Friend rice was pretty yummy. Read more

The Mongolian beef was special, and the sizzling rice soup had amazing flavor. The lo mein were thinner noodles than I... typically like but still had good flavoring. We also got a salmon avocado roll that was uninspiring so maybe stay away from thatone. Their bar was both inside and outside with a great atmosphere that's definitely worth the trip. Read more

I have driven past The Orient on several occasions and it always seem to be bustling with customers. I am a very long time fan... of hibachi Japanese food and I also like sushi and California roll style Japanese food. The restaurant itself is gorgeous andit's like something you would expect to see near the beach in California. The service was impeccable, they made sure that withyour permission they timed everything perfectly. The main chef was jovial and positive and colorful and gave us the trueJapanese hibachi dining experience that we've all come to know and love. This evening I tried to tiger roll wraps and had thefillet and shrimp and I wasn't disappointed. However the ginger sauce has no Ginger so you might want to bring your own Gingersauce because you might need it but everything else is great. I highly recommend it and I recommend you go there for a trulywonderful dining experience. Read more

I remember when this was Houston?s and was one of my favorites to visit. The Orient has transformed this place into a beautiful... restaurant. Nice bar and patio. The dining area is in the front and hibachi tables are in the back. That said, it has a niceambiance. We went here at the end of lunch so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The price is considerably much moreexpensive than other places especially since the hibachi is typically what you would get elsewhere. The sushi was prettygood. Although it?s a nice place, I don?t think I would go back because for the price, you?re not getting anything you couldn?tget at other high end hibachi locations. Read more

We had an amazing time at The Orient. We drove by while they were settling in. Then Covid happened and everything closed. We are... so glad this place made it through. The food is outstanding. I'm not a raw fish kind of guy but the Maguro Tartare wasincredible. As I've said before my wife has Celiac so EVERYTHING has to be Gluten Free. They were able to accommodate herrestrictions and it was all delicious. We will definitely come back and already told our neighbors that they have to go. Read more

The food and service was amazing! We sat at the bar, and Dane was fantastic. Since covid I have struggled to have decent service... while dinning out, but Dane hit all the marks. We will definitely be back to see him and try some of the other amazing lookingdishes. We had the Sake ceviche, the Atom bomb roll (Dane suggestion), and Egg foo young combination. Everything was perfect! Read more

The tangerine chicken was served hot and arrived to the table steaming. The sesame chicken was very flavorful andquite decorative. The Crispy Soy sushi was fabulous!! Everything was splendid!!
