I'd "sit drink stay" at the Family Dog any day of the week (except Monday of course because even though they "got that dog in... them," being such an energetic, joyful and sweet neighborhood spot takes a lot of work)! At the bar, you'll find Lord Byronmost days ready to fill up your pup's water bowl, your glass with beer and your day with joy. Everything they do here from theevents, to the art, the food and even the friendly banter -- they give it their all. They filled my glass up tall and I knowthey'll do the same for y'all. Go Dawgs! I’ve been to Family Dog about 7 times and always had a decent time (the last time was back in August maybe?) Went to Family... Dog tonight… totally elevated experience! The food was noticeably next level. The drinks also noticeably improved in quality. The music was awesome. The staff were so friendly and on it. Sharp service! Great job y’all! ????????????????????????Definitely will go back to Family Dog very soon! Read more

Extremely friendly staff. We arrived there an hour before they opened and the staff cam outside to check on us and offer... refreshments. Read more

The food was ok. I had the fried chicken sandwich, but made it to a biscuit. The biscuit was kinda dry and hard. I'm not really... sure if they actually have a dog menu, but our server told us they can cook some meat patty for our dog. The rest of the foodwas just ordinary. Read more

I’m not sure if the service is subpar every day or if we just had a stroke of bad luck our first time here, but we were very... disappointed with our experience at brunch, which really makes me sad to say! We didn’t get acknowledged at our table until~15-20 minutes in. Our waitress didn’t introduce herself nor did she seem interested in building any kind of rapport. Then ourfood took another 25 or so to come out and one of the orders was completely wrong, but we were starving and had been there forso long that we ate it anyway to avoid more issues. We did end up telling the waitress that the order was wrong and she wasabout to blame it on us, then finally offered to take it off the bill. She didn’t really apologize for her mistake. From thenon the waitress had a flippant attitude and didn’t say much of anything the rest of the time. I genuinely empathize withfolks who are slammed with tables, new to the restaurant, or if there’s some kind of communication error made- it happens andserving can be a really tough job mentally and physically. However, we gave our waitress every chance to turn things around andshe didn’t take them. I also will never understand why servers do not write their orders down. Besides that, the food wasdecent and I love the dog-friendly patio! $16 for a BLT is asinine, I will say. I will likely come back and give it anotherchance but it’s unfortunate that this was my first impression. Read more

Service is terrible, food is not great, and the menu is way over priced. Not worth it. Told staff there was a roach on our wings... and they just said that gross when we moved. I’m out. Read more

Loved it! Our 2 yr-old mini schnauzer had a great time! We sat in the corner on the patio and he got to walk along the bench and... look out at every passing. The food was really yummy! We got nachos and chicken tender with the BBQ sauce and oh my gosh thatmeat was fall-apart tender. If we are in the area with one of our dogs again, we'll definitely go back!! Read more

Stopped by for brunch. They are dog friendly but only have 7 tables available for families with dogs. When we arrived almost all... tables were occupied by patrons without pets. Once we got our table, the wait staff was friendly. While we were looking for atable, we were ignored by all staff. They have a limited menu but the food was good. Full bar and craft beers. Read more
