I am very selective on food especially when I am out of state. So I google for a Jamaican restaurant and Tastee Spoon was at... 4745 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta GA 30338 was just 3mins away from my hotel. The decor and ambiance raises expectations andwas serene. The restaurant was very presentable, clean and modern. The robot waiter got me thrilled. My human waiter was niceand very pleasant. I had the jerk chicken, The rice & peas, and cabbage. The food was delicious ????. I did introduce my othercolleague at work to this restaurant too. He dined here every other night Read more

(This review is from July 15, 2022) I saw this restaurant on Yelp and was curious about the food. I was in the area and happened... to drive past and decided to have dinner there with my family. Upon entrance- I didn?t get a warm greeting, however I was stillexcited to be out of my own kitchen and allowing someone else to be of service to me. I couldn?t decide right away if I wantedto dine in or carry out. After a few moments I decided to dine in and wait for a table. While we waited we had an opportunity tomeet and converse with the owners aunt (Charmaine) and learn a bit of history on the business and the location. We saw (Milly)the service robot that serves guest?s meals at the table-which was unique. After about 15 minutes, our table was cleaned and wewere seated. We ordered lamb, vegetables, chicken wings, a beef patty and french fries. It was great to enjoy a sit down dinnerwith my family and see how happy they were to enjoy a new experience. The food could use some love and slow cooking. I am big onservice and good food. I think with a little more attention to details with the menu items and fine tuning the service? thisestablishment will be around for a while. Read more

The food is amazing me and my daughter stopped in to pick up just a bite to eat for lunch. I bought jerk Wings they were so... delicious and tasty without the salt. My daughter bought the ackee and saltfish it was delicious she bought dumplings on theside because this place serves it a little different than other places. They didn't serve it with the boil dumpling it wasserved with I think a fried dumpling however there's other options that you can have on the side with it. I recommend 100% Read more

Best Jamaican food ever. The tails were so good with the broccoli cheese casserole. The jerk chicken, beans and rice was tasty... too. Not to mention the upside down pineapple cake very moist. Wonderful customer service. I enjoyed every taste ???? Read more

The food and service was delicious! I ordered the Belly Up plate, which featured jerk chicken, rice and beans and sweet fried... plantains. Be aware that the jerk sauce that they provide you with is a bit spicy, so if that is not your "thing," be aware ofthis. The restaurant is very cute and themed with Jamaican paraphernalia, music, and a great vibe. I was in Atlanta for a week, and this is the only place that I enjoyed while being there. I would definitely come back to this place! Read more

The decor and ambiance raises expectations, but the food brings it back DOWN to earth. The restaurant was very presentable,... clean and modern. (Large screen TVS, led menus and robot waiter). Our human waiter was nice and very pleasant. And now the food. The rasta pasta and salmon quinoa were not very warm. The rice & peas and broccoli cheese casserole was VERY BLAND. I onlyenjoyed the beef patty and carrot juice. Personally the restaurant did not motivate me to make a return trip, but you may wantto give it a try. Read more

We were going to Hobby Lobby and I saw this place in the same strip mall. We wanted to try out something different and I'm happy... we did. The BBQ jerk chicken is so good. Tender meat and a spicy BBQ sauce. I also now know that I LOVE plantains!!! It's adesert with your main course. It was really good and we will definitely go back. The only reason for the star reduction wasthey forgot to give me my sweet tea, but the overall flavors and experience made up for it. Read more
