The salads are good, but the customer service is lacking. I was in the front of the line for 5-10 minutes, and they just stared... at me. When I eventually asked what the deal was, they said they had to clean the whole place before serving more customers.Which, fair, but you just completely ignored me. And couldn't one person be cleaning while someone else helped customers? Theline got really long behind me. And then, only one woman was making the food (even though there were like 4 people on thefloor!), so she had to do five other people's salads at the same time as mine. This made it take longer. I don't have much timefor lunch, and I wanted to splurge on an expensive salad. I ended up not having time to eat it. Disappointed. Edit: she alsoforgot my bread. Read more
It's my first time there and I found the salad delicious! The lady that helped me was patient and helpful. Plus I'm super full... on my salad. The only thing I wish it had falafel and a couple more sweet options to balance the salad, like dried cranberries. Read more
I have been a long-time patron at Sweetgreen Ponce City Market and I have to say that most of the time, this location was good.... However, the last 2 in-person visits have been deplorable. The associate that prepared my salad had the most horrible customerservice and interaction I?ve ever encountered here before. She comes off as if she is having the very worst day. Her attitude isvery curt, discourteous, and bad-mannered, and it?s completely unprovoked. She appears to be upset if you don?t speak quicklyenough when ordering, but she does a poor job of prompting when she?s ready for the next food selection and what to do when in aline when others are in front of you in line. She mutters softly whispering words as if she?s a complete mute and then appearsto be bothered when I kindly uttered back that I don?t know what she wants me to do and that it would be helpful to let me knowhow to proceed when the line is full. Does the customer yield until there?s room to complete the order OR do you want to get allthe salad accommodations? This is a simple task and something that an associate should be able to establish when servicing thecustomer. It?s an unbecoming look on an establishment that is constantly losing foot traffic and superior ratings; likely dueto the lack of solid customer service. Great experience. Workers were attentive in a busy environment. Food was great. The place has an atmosphere and vibe like gusto!... I was very nervous to visit this location and spend the money after reading the reviews. I came in around 3:45 PM yesterday and... ordered the Super Green Goddess salad. The employee, Kimberly, made my salad, and I want to commend her/ give her a shoutout formaking my experience so positive. I made some substitutions, and Kimberly was so patient with me.
