St Angelo’s has been my go to pizza place for years, I typically order once a week but after today I’m going to stop. They... were 30 minutes late for their delivery time frame, I have two young children and the change in delivery time impacted theirschedule. I understand that 30 mins may not be very much to other families but with where I’m at in life it is. I orderedpizza out of convenience and it just made the nighttime routine more stressful tonight. This place has good pizza and food. The problem is that the number on their website and on the receipt when you order is... incorrect going on many months. The people that are working at the Vinings location really dropped the ball with my order.Sadly, by the time the order did show up it was 40 minutes late and based on the conversation with St Angelos we knew there wasa problem so we started eating something else. They do have good pizza but they have also dropped the ball one too many timeswith this customer and I will never order again and will be sure to share my experience with this place. I would rather catchCovid than order here again. Update after reply. Not worth getting into but what I wrote is 100% the truth. The order arrivedat 5:35 after we had already started with another dish. Furthermore, the number being wrong was acknowledged by your staff andthey apologized for that and the confusion it causes. This restaurant is awesome! I was so happy my wife picked out this place from Yelp so off we went. I had the Stromboli and she... had the large salad. Ordered at the counter and we sat till it was ready. We were going to get it to go however it was a littlestormy outside so we decided to eat in. Glad we did. We decided to eat out on the patio area. A lot of interaction was going on(including Santa was there taking pictures of the kid visitors) and they all were having fun. Our food was ready really fast andit was excellent. Mine was piping hot and so much cheese. And the wife loved her salad. We will definitely be back. On the wayout, Santa waved to us and we got a selfie, lol. We even got a sticker from the big guy. Service was good. Boneless wings were good. The Chicago style garlic knots were GREAT. The pizza was good, could have used... another 5-8 minutes in the oven, bottom was very soft and slices limp. Pasta was kinda soupy ???? Would give it another whirleventually. Read more
What a great time! This family owned restaurant located near Smyrna GA has one of the most delicious wings I have ever tasted. ... The lemon pepper wings are fantastic! St Angelos has a huge menu with something for everyone. Serving both deep dish pizza andhand tossed too. Atmosphere: Great place for groups, fun times, and family dinners. My favorite neighborhood pizza shop! I love that it is family owned and managed and has been since 2003. I never get sick of... their food and eat everything on the menu! As a vegetarian, it's so nice that there are plenty of yummy options! There arealways fun happenings at the shop too like trivia, live music, drink specials, and open mic nights. The family that owns thisrestaurant is so wonderful and they put so much love into everything that they do. I love supporting St. A and am so happy tohave this neighborhood staple as a part of the community! Read more
Leaving this review on Google, something I’ve not done until now, in hopes that it reaches the right people. This is an... amazing small business, for so many reasons. Customer for at least 8yrs now. But my most recent reason for saying this, is thatthey’ve had to partner with a 3rd party delivery to try and get out all their orders. Totally get that. They’re doing theirbest to do the most they can, while not sacrificing quality, etc. It’s not perfect, but it’s also not in their control. Assomeone who grew up in a self-employed, small business home, who also spent almost 10yrs in industry, the level of customerservice, yet not having personal control is HUGE, and it’s even more stressful when something goes wrong. I had to call aboutthe 3rd party delivery (not St A’s fault), & they went so far above and beyond. It was so appreciated. Please not only supportsmall, local businesses, but try to understand most do the best they can and actually care. It’s not easy in any industry,even less so in restaurant. Read more
