I?m so glad I found this gem. The staff was amazing and the food phenomenal. The only improvement I would suggest is to descale... the fish and use some lime juice to clean the fish. It tasted quite fishy. I will definitely go back! Read more

This is by far the best southern food I have ever had since I've been in Georgia. This is a no pork Zone but it is so worth it.... The people inside are very much so nice and kind and they make sure that you have everything you need but the food isimpeccable. Read more

Great soul food that is worth the price. I had their dinner plate and it contained mac n' cheese, yellow rice, fried chicken... drumsticks, seasoned fish, and cooked spinach. They also have a tea room with plenty of flavors to choose from. Overall, I wouldrecommend to those who want authentic southern soul food. Read more

Catching up on reviews. I stopped by for dinner while in the area on Saturday, 06-04-22. I always try to visit a new spot before... returning home. The reviews were good, so I wanted to taste for myself. I sat outside to enjoy my meal around 7:30 pm. A coupleof items I wanted to try weren't available. I figured it was because it was good and/or some items wouldn't be replenishedbecause it was closer to closing time. The young lady serving me apologized for the wait & gave me plenty with my order. I hadthe baked fish (forgot which type), cabbage, mac & cheese, butternut squash, and a soda. I hadn't had butternut squash beforebut I'm glad I tried it here first. After trying a fork full or two, I decided to save it & use it as dessert. It was verygood. It seemed that this was a business for those of the Islamic faith. I am not a member of that faith, but I still feltwelcome and was treated well. I would definitely return when I'm back in the area, especially to try the tea area to the right. Read more

This beef rib plate was delicious! They were well seasoned and fell off the bone?super tender and flavorful. The mac-n-cheese,... greens and squash were perfect. Every time I come here, the food is always good and good for the soul. And I always add themango ginger beverage. Yum! The only complaint of this place is the service! OMG! It takes FORVER to get your meal. After yearsof being in business, they have yet to create an efficient system to serve the food quickly when there?s a crowd?it doesn?tmatter if you?re ordering from the hot bar or a made to order meal. The wait is too long. (They should get some training fromPiccadilly or someplace like that). The service is polite. The restaurant is clean. The food is very good. Pack your patience. Read more
