I hear about this place when it first opened up and told myself I would visit Atlanta just to come here. I finally made it 2... years later and let me tell you? this place is the best!! The vibes are immaculate, the people are lively and hilarious. Thefood is impeccable and filling. The smoothie drinks are perfect. I had never heard of SluttyVegan before my cousins took me there while visiting Atlanta. So I had no idea what to expect but I... was eager to try. Its a classic burger joint, but vegan. The fries were delicious. Crispy and very flavorful. I got the FussyHussy burger. It tasted like a typical cheese burger with classic fixins. I also got the Banana Pudding. Let me start by saying that the employees are all amazing and their energy is unmatched. The restaurant itself has really fun... vibes even though it?s takeout only. The burger, sadly, was terrible and was like you?re eating fake food/plastic. It?s like theflavor is there for one second and then it?s gone. But the fries were great. The burger did not disappoint - it tastes like how I remember a meat-based burger to taste. The texture of the vegan patty and... vegan cheese along with the taste of the sauce were chef?s kiss. I had to wait outside of the restaurant for a few minutes (camearound 12:30 PM on a Saturday), but the line moved quickly. The atmosphere of the store was welcoming and lively, and my burgercame out in less than 5 minutes. Whether or not you?re vegan, I think this place is worth visiting and supporting - the total ofmy order was about $16 so I could see the appeal if you are craving a good vegan burger. Read more
Vibe inside was great, everyone spoke and made u feel welcomed. If u are vegan or just want to try it out, the burger did tastes... like the real thing. I got the sloppy toppy, it was smothered in their specialty sauce and made the bread a bit soggy. Frieswere seasoned good, sweet potato pie was delicious. My boyfriend got the heaux boy but I think they forgot to assemble it as Asandwich. We were caught off guard by it, the vegan shrimp tasted okay. Felt like it should be fried hard because the batterwas soft and off putting and the inside of the vegan shrimp was also soft. The strawberry lemonade was so freaking good andrefreshing. The good: The staff are all so wonderful! I love their energy and the atmosphere. It was so cool. First-timer and I already... wanted to dance with people. The Bad: I was disappointed that they use Impossible burger patties (advertised on menuscreen)/Beyond Meat. I thought they use their own homemade patties. For the price, it's not worth paying ~$16 for a burger whereI can buy Impossible patties for $1.25 per patty and add the condiments myself. I hope they would consider making their ownvegan-chicken patties. I would give it a go next time for their vegan shrimp. Read more
