Amazing find near Georgia Tech downtown. Best Mexican restaurant in Atlanta with one of the best Margarita and Guacamole I ever... had in Atlanta. Staff was very humble and service was prompt even though it was packed. Must try their cheese queso dip with ahint of jalapeno - it's sinful and heavenly!!! Music was great with a Mexican/Latino vibe. The best place to hang out withfriends as music isn't too loud that you can't talk. Read more

The new owners have changed too much. The old servers were great- the current ones are inattentive and take 20+ min to come tend... to their tables. The food is fine and doesn't seem like it's changed, but with the missing staff from pre-crown hospitality thisplace is not the sanctuary it once was. As a long time midtown resident I won't be returning. Read more

This WAS one of my favorite "go to" places in the city to eat. Sadly things have changed. I just returned from four weeks... vacation overseas when a friend suggested we go to Senor Patron's for Mexican and Margaritas which we do all the time. We walkedin and the interior obviously had some upgrades but I also noticed that none of the wait staff seemed to be the same. We satdown and and ordered our usual skinny margaritas, my taco salad and his two tacos. Food service that was once lightening quickwas no more. It took forever to get our food order. We got a second skinny margarita and out waiter brought us more chips andsalsa. The food finally came. My taco salad was 50% smaller than it was in my last visit and the meat was VERY over-salted. Myfriend's tacos were dripping with grease and he remarked the the meat was also very salty. I only ate half of the smaller tacosalad and he could not finish his two tacos. It was just bad. We asked for our check and we both got a big sticker shock. Mybill for my taco salad and two skinnies was $41.00 (substantially more expensive than my last visit). My friend's bill was over$45.00 for two tacos, two skinnies and and a small cup of queso. Apparently our small skinnies cost around $14.00 each (and theywere weak and full of ice). I asked the waiter if the place had changed ownership and he responded, "yes" and asked if wenoticed. We told him we noticed and not in a positive way. We paid our bills and left. We won't go back. It's a shame that sucha well-run "go to" place to eat has taken such a bad turn. I wish the new owners luck. I have a feeling they will need it. Tohis credit, our waiter was really good but he could not make up for everything else that was wrong. Save your money and go toTaco Bell and make your own margaritas. The food an drinks will be better and you won't be overcharged for the experience. Read more

This is my first time at this restaurant and I was very impressed. The bartender immediately took my order I was eating my... chicken burrito literally within 6 minutes. The food was was good. There was a lot of chicken in the burrito much more thannormal. She brought me a refill of iced tea and salsa without me asking for it. I'm very impressed and will be back. Read more

Dinner tonight was prettty good! Quite crowded on a Friday eve and we did have to wait 45 mins for our food but the generous... chips and salsa kept us occupied! I liked my marg but it was pretty standard in flavor and price. Our vegetarian entrees wereboth decent, veery cheesey and the side salad was fresh and a good crisp addition to the meal. Churros were also good and asteal- $4 for 4. Dinner prices were very reasonable. Our server Aaliyah did a great job despite the rush! Pleasantly surprisedby Senor Patron for texmex. Read more
