I arrived early on a Friday night and took a seat at the bar. I had a delicious cocktail and two sushi rolls. They were the best... rolls I?ve ever had in my life! Saito, the master chef, came over a couple of times to make sure that everything was to myliking and that I was enjoying my meal. Will definitely come back again on my next trip! Read more

Avoid. This is a gas station sushi place masquerading as a high level sushi restaurant. I got the omakase combo B. It came... with two Maki, one sashimi, and one nigiri plate. Took myself on a date here and had a great time. The atmosphere was intimate and the staff that I encountered were all very... personable. Hailey was my bartender/waitress and was phenomenal. She was well versed on the beverage menu and served up customcocktails which tasted as good as they looked. She was also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and offered greatrecommendations on places to go afterwards. I ordered the lobster roll as a starter which was fantastic. The flavor profile wassubtle so the lobster was and to do it's thing without competing with the other ingredients. I ordered the sea bass w/clams andspinach as my main dish and found it to be good as well. This sea bass is seasoned sparingly, so it is best to eat it with thespinach because that is where the seasoning lives. My partner and I were working downtown and saw Saito from the sidewalk below. The beautiful decor and ambiance piqued our... curiosity immediately. We made reservations for two and came for an early dinner this week. The cocktails are top notch; I hadthe Hibiscus Sake Sour first, which was creamy and frothy with a wonderful flavor, followed by the Blue Pea Lavender Martini,which was fragrant and so smooth. My aged NY strip on wasabi mashed potatoes was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth fabulous. Mypartner had two rolls off the sushi menu and he said it was some of the best sushi he?d ever had. Upon first look at thedescriptions of the rolls in the menu, they seem unassuming and resemble your standard sushi joint, but upon tasting, there is anoticeable difference in taste, freshness, and composition of the rolls that sets them far above anything we?ve had in Atlanta.Presentation was lovely. The mood and decor of the place is classy and chic. We felt for a moment like we were in a much largercity than Atlanta. Our server, Christian, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had good timing on his trips to the table. We can?twait to come back and try the other items on the menu. My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Saito sushi from start to finish! The dining area of this quaint restaurant... is absolutely stunning. All of the staff that we interacted with were fantastic! (Special shoutout to Hailey the bartender formaking our experience so great! She is such a pro when it comes to mixology and good conversation.) The owner, Mr. Saito, evenpersonally greeted us while we were there. We had mixed drinks where they used vodkas that they infused with different flavorsin house. My favorite was the pineapple blueberry infused vodka cocktail. They have a lot of different types of Sake too and Ienjoyed having a little bit of warm sake on a fall evening. We had already eaten dinner elsewhere but couldn?t pass up gettingat least one roll of sushi. We had the ?Oh my God? roll and all I can say is that it lives up to its name!
