Good food and hearty portions! The guacamole was fresh, chunky and flavored perfectly, paired with warm fried tortilla chips and... salsas. The chicken fajita was also well seasoned, and served with a good amount of rice and beans. The cauliflower tacos withpesto (yes, unusual, but it works) were my favorite! They seem to have stuffed half a cauliflower into 2 corn tortillas- whichwere thick, and held up to the weight of the veggies! The margaritas were okay. The first time I ate at Pure the food was amazing. We're new to the area so thought this would be our go-to spot. It's super... busy during happy hour. My second time left much to be desired. Our waiter came right after we were seated inside but our guacand chips got sent to the ppl next to us who arrived 20 min after us. We waited almost an hour for apps! The guac was bland butfresh.. much better after some doctoring. Our drinks were on the money. I got the chicken sandwich which was also meh. Myhusband also wasn't fond of his meal either. Not too sure if it was just a bad day/ waiter and if I'll frequent again. Tryingnot to dig any deeper than that if you catch my drift. Really disappointed second time around. Read more
I had a full corse meal and I don?t even know where to start. I sat at the bar and if I cal recall the bar tender Micheal was... very pleasant and patient and he made very good recommendations. As a traveler I would travel back to this restaurant theappetizer along was the best and it was really I expected for the chopped salon to be warm but it was a little cool and but itwent well with what was on the chip. The tacos was cooked perfect and I don?t get perfectly cooked tacos often. The desert looklike beignet but it?s called something else but it was really good also. The chocolate on them taste like some you put in coffeeor a milkshake so the flavor there kinda clashed. But all in all I recommend this restaurant. Rooftop bar with misters on a bright sunny day + frozen margaritas hit the spot! Nachos with red and green salsa come on the... house, and we ordered queso and guacamole, which was fresh and delicious. Entrees cazuela bowl with portobello and chickenburrito. Appreciate low touch QR code menus. Wish we didn't have to ask for napkins and utensils. Like the earth friendly strawsand at least non-styrofoam, plastic takeout containers. Save the earth! Nice little restaurant with very good homemade dishes and sides. The Guac is???????????? lots of pescatarian, vegetarian and... gluten free options with the latter two being notated on the menu. My first time coming here was with my boss but when I was inthe area again today I knew I had to come back. Pleasant stay that doesn't mind answering your questions and the service is soquick you barely have time to enjoy appetizers before your main course arrives. Cozy place and I'll definitely return, maybenext time for a date night. Meal today was tres ceveche, guacamole and chips for appetizers and the grilled amberjack tacoplate.
