This place was a great idea and excellent execution. The chicken was delicious, as claimed, and the fries are very good. They... did not go easy on the sauce either, which I appreciate. My only gripe is that I wish the portions were bigger for the price,but quality was still great. Would definitely love to come back and try their other items, but the Ponko Chicken was fantastic.The Ponko rice bowl brunch meal was okay; I would say stick with the classics for this one. Read more
Ordered their 5 piece Ponko Chicken tenders with 2 sides (potato salad was ok). They even gave me more than 5 chicken tenders!... Their OG sauce with the chicken was delicious!!! Highly recommend! Read more
Service was fast and the good was amazing. I couldn't decide so I ordered the hot dog with fries along with grilled teriyaki... chicken, the OG rice with an extra side of the OG chicken and the green beans as well. Everything was so so good and the mojitofrom the bar was really delicious. Read more
This place is dangerous for how good these chicken tenders are. I live too close to it and I crave this all the time. My... favorite is the chicken plate with the side salad and fries. The fries portion is more than perfect, and the walnut dressing forthe salad is delicious. I always get the OG sauce for my chicken because if it?s sweetness but my boyfriend loves the bbq more.The restaurant itself is also great, plenty space and good atmosphere. Delicious chicken that is so tender and perfect. I've had the Ponko Chicken Salad OG (Original) with the Sweet Sesame Dressing,... Ponko Fries, and Ponko Rice. Friendly service and great food - even if you have to wait in line a little bit. Clean andattractive location with ample seating. Read more
Great restaurant concept here, the food is made fresh and is worth the wait. The ponko tacos were very tasty and filling, it's a... unique flavor so I really enjoyed it, I got half way through my meal and already felt full. Went here to try the vegan options, my husband and I both got the tofu tenders and 2 sides. Tofu tenders and very well fried... with lots of breading, spicy isn't that spicy, which is great and the BBQ has tons of sauce. I got the green beans which weresuper weird, I think it's supposed to be like a green bean casserole, but the gravy is odd, not bad but if I go back I'll getsomething different. Huge portion of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had, these guys know how to fry stuff. Next time Iwill get the rice and island veggies with BBQ tenders. The rice was soft sticky rice perfectly cooked. Make sure to ask forthe ranch, server said it was vegan. The cashier was friendly but even though they're weren't busy it took a while for food tocome out. Not cheap, but good! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating also. Read more
